Y/N POV
"You can't just spend that kind of money Terry! We need to save up for them!" I hear from down stairs. I slowly get up out of bed and open my door, what are they yelling about?
"C'mon Lilly! I bought this for us! This car will get me to work faster!" Daddy says happily. Hm? "You still should have spoken to me about it and - You've been drinking again haven't you!?" Mommy yells.
Drinking? Like what?
There's silence. "No.." "Don't LIE TO ME TERRY!" There's silence. Then a thud and whimpering. "LISTEN YOU BITCH! I WORK MY ASS OFF EVERYDAY FOR THIS FAMILY! I CAN DRINK IF I WANT!" I run down the stairs and see mommy pressed up against the wall. Daddy looks angry.
I pretend to yawn and rub my eyes. "Mommy? Daddy?" I ask, pretending to be confused. Mommy looks at me and then back at Daddy. "Look what you've gone and done, you woke up Y/N..." She walks to me, tears in her eyes. "It's ok my Angle, Mommy and Daddy had a disagreement and started yelling, everything is ok." She kisses my forehead.
"O-Ok, g-goodnight Mommy, Daddy..." I hug Mommy and go to walk back to my room. "Y/N..." Daddy stops me. I turn. "What have I always taught you? Don't lie to us you - " "TERRY! -"
"Ms. Valkrum!" Mrs. Muggs slams her desk. I look at her with no emotion. "Yes?" "Do you mind solving the equation since you feel the need to stare out the window all class?" I go to give her an answer that would get me expelled, but thankfully, the bell rings, students rushing out.
"Don't forget to do your Holiday break assignments! And Noah! I'll see you tomorrow for the extra credit, Ivy! I hope you study for the Midterms and Y/N, pay attention for once." Mrs. Muggs sits at her desk and I leave the room.
"What a bitch..." I scoff and walk to my locker and grab my hoodie. Someone taps my shoulder and I turn around. "Hey Laurence." I turn back to my locker. He's smiling ear to ear.

"Soooooooooo!" He leans on the locker next to mine. "Yesssssss?" I mock him, throwing books into the locker aggressively. He hands me a flyer.

Aphmau and Vylad walk to their houses and Travis and I wait for the Shadow Knights.
