Y/N POV

"We have to go Travis!" I yell. Not responding, I run up to his room. Dad was still gone, which was actually nice, I just hope he's not somewhere doing something crazy.

I knocked on his door and opened it.

No Travis, just another note saying he left early to go meet up with his friends. I sigh and throw the note in the trash, and walk to school.
Zenix and Sasha had bad colds and Gene was suspended...again, so I walked and flew solo today. I past by the Ro'Meaves and see the pile out of their house. Their mom gives them brown paper bags full of lunch, kisses and sends them off. Blah.

My eyes meet Emo's from across the street and I quickly look forwards, continuing to walk. I hear someone start to yell my name, I'm guessing it was Young nerd because he sounded angry and his voice was squeaky. I groan and cross to the other side of the street to the brothers, where Gar Gar and Young nerd look REALLY upset at me. I tried my best to avoid them all! I would be quick at my locker, eat lunch with the Shadow Knights outside or just skip more. I got to their side and Emo looked down at his feet, not wanting to talk to me.

"You! Your the one who hurt my big brother!" Young nerd yelled.
"Yes, yes I am." I sighed and nodded. Emo's head shot right up in what I'm guessing was surprise.
"Why?! Why would you-" He was cut off by Gar Gar.
"Vylad, What did we say? Y/N was having a horrible day and Zane made her more upset and angry." He lied. Emo looked back down at his feet. I shook my head in disbelief! How could Emo take the blame for this? This was MY fault and he was just trying to help and get me to talk!

"This wasn't just his fault!" Young nerd yelled. I tried really hard not to glare at Gar Gar for that awful lie, he really needed to work on that.

"Yes, Young nerd, your right! The whole thing was my fault." I sigh again. Young nerd nodded and started to walk. Gar Gar ran up to catch him and Emo stood in his place. He looked up at me and I saw that he got a new mask to make up for the one I stole. I still had it, I put in next to my photos on my bookcase. I slowly turned to walk away, but felt a hand touch my shoulder.

"It's not just your fault, don't think it was just your fault! I should have nerd called you a bitch." Emo said. I turned around and gave him a half smile.
"Do you want to truce?" He asked. I stopped myself from laughing! This kid never gave up on trying to be a Shadow Knight. I give him a smile and nod.
"Want to skip with me later?" I ask. From what I think, he smiles big and nods. We walk up to school and I leave him to go on my own.

Skip To Meeting Zane To Skipping...

"Ugh! Where is he?!" I whine. Emo finally shows up after 20 minutes, which was later then most show up. We walk to the park and send Emo to the bridge. I change into the clothes above. The 4th wall has been broken, yes I know! I walk back over to the bridge and Emo was sitting on the grass, reading his book. I take off my bag and throw it at him. I laugh my ass to the ground from the startled face he made and lied down.

"So! What do you want to do?" I ask.
"I'd like my mask back." He laughs lightly. I roll my eyes and sit up.
"I told you, I'm not giving it back until you stop annoying me." I laugh. He sighs and stands up.
"Why don't we go to Starbucks for some coffee?" He asks. Did he just ask me to coffee? Did he just ask me on a date? OMI, Y/N! Stop thinking like a girly - girl!
