Annie

I instantly remembered we don't have white lilies near the pack house, only at the border line, where children are not meant to go.

As a florist and a healer in training, I sensed something was wrong, when Jax neared the table.

Plus the boy would've wobbled over here, as he was always too nervous to do anything.

My vision slowly began to get worse, while I saw Sam panic and decided to speak sweetly to him, as he's such a big dummy.

I was in the middle of saying something, as that was camouflage silver, but Sam cut me off by running fast to the hospital.

If only I could hit him..

I closed my eyes, as my back touched the bed, I heard my mentor get to work and whisper soothing words to me before the rest got drowned out.

Alex

I looked over to Sora checking if she was alright, as I knew Sam will take care of my Annie, but Sora looked scared like a cat.

It was a shock, as you would never guess... she could be scared of anything.

"Baby, snap out of it." I say, grabbing her face, "go upstairs to my room with your sister." I tell her, as she nods.

She went up with her sister, never looking back, while I turned my attention back on the boy, that no one picked up.

"Why did you leave the poor boy on the floor?" I shout, "he's clearly collapsed after being used by something." I growled, annoyed that Jax was affected by this unknown mess.

I mind linked the border patrols to double up the security and replace the ones that was there, as he shouldn't even been there.

I shook my head and picked up the boy, while his mother stared at him in disgust, making me growl at her presence hushing her up.

My feet went as fast as they could, to the hospital, I sighed as I put him on the bed and ordered for him to get help.

Doctor Caan came over, with his clipboard and analysed the boy, before checking the back of his neck which had something on it.

I didn't even realise.

"The boy clearly needs special attention, I'll take him to the surgery." He says, putting on his gloves, touching over the thing on the back of his neck.

"I helped your sister into good shape. Doctor Mabel took over." He informs me, as I nodded, while he wheeled Jax's bed into the surgery room with the help of the nurses.

I groaned and asked Landon what's happening right now,

Sora snapped out the trance and ordered everyone to calm down. He replied, making me smile.

Alright, help her and if anyone refuses her order, you know what to do. I responded back.

I rushed over to Annie's room, with the help of her scent and Sam's, he was out on the floor looking stressed and hopeless.

"It's okay." I reassured him, he looked up at me and sighed, "yeah I know. I was just scared." He tells me.

I nodded, understandingly.

Doctor Mabel came out and smiled at us, "she's alright, she told me to not let the dummy in first. Now." She claps.

"Where's my husband?" She grin, her chocolate skin shining, like the sun.

"He's operating on the little boy." I tell her, she nods, then flicks her braids her back and looks over to Sam.

"Breathe she's not dead." Her dimples deepened, letting out a rich laugh, before walking to attend more patients.

I walked in and saw Annie looking like she was never touched, "how?" I asked.

"Don't you remember when you touched it and I was focusing on finding something to cure you with?" She raises her eyebrow, shaking her head in disappointment.

"Oh." I say instead, she won that round.

Sam finally came in, rushing to Annie's side, "you were hurt and I could've stopped you and grabbed it instead." He sighed, I rolled my eyes and walked out.

I walked down the hallway, seeing Sora out of breath, "is she okay?" She says hunched over, breathing crazy.

You'll think she's human.

"Yes she's alright, there's nothing to worry about, where's your sister?" I asked, she shakes her head with a small smile, "she's with Zander." She says, getting closer to me.

My heart fluttered at the movement, before pulling her in a hug, "we'll get to the bottom of this." I whispered, kissing her forehead.

She nods gently, making me smile, my baby.

I looked over to her for a good minute, which of course added some colour to her cheeks.

She then tired to avoided eye contact, but I lifted her chin, making her look directly to me.

Cute.

I went in to lean in for a kiss, but was stopped certain person, "I smell Sora, get in here." Annie screams from her room.

I sighed, as Sora chuckles, while I pouted. She shakes her head and kissed my cheek, before leaving me.

Not even on the lips...

and as if she heard, she came back and kissed them, before running away like a school girl while I giggled like one.
