"So, what really happens in these detentions?" James Sirius asked as he had noticed Harry's change in tone as he looked toward the Weasley's. James Sirius knew exactly what was going to happen as his Mother and Father had told him the horror stories that all revolved around Dolores Umbridge.

"It is lines, but it's different," Hermione answered as she shook her head mad at the barbaric detention they were about to receive.

"Okay, be vague we'll find out eventually," James told them as they started their journey to Umbridge's office.

Everyone stopped talking as they got closer and closer to Umbridge's office. The long corridors were quiet and their footsteps echoed down the corridor.

"I hate silence," James Sirius muttered as he started making as much noise as he could with his feet.

"What are you doing?" Hermione asked annoyed that he was making so much noise.

"What do you mean?" James Sirius asked with a smirk.

"Are you serious?" Hermione said as she rolled her eyes.

"No, I'm Sir-" Sirius started before James elbowed him in the side. "What? Oh ya. Sorry I  promised James I'd never use that joke again."

It was easily the most random thing that had happened in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry at least to James Sirius, James and Sirius, for Hermione and Harry it was simply routine as they were not real Dementors. Before Harry and Hermione could tell James Sirius exactly that he had pulled his wand.

"Expecto Patronum!" James Sirius yelled with a wave of his wand. A wolf burst out of the end of his wand toward the fake dementors. Suddenly, three boys burst out of long billowing cloaks.

"What the devil?" James Sirius said as he looked at the three boys. "Who the hell are you?"

"What don't recognize us Potter? Only known each other for five years!" Draco Malfoy sneered in James Sirius's direction.

"Actually it's Patterson," James Sirius sneered back at the platinum blonde.

"I know who you are Potter don't lie," Draco said as he glared at James Sirius. James Sirius motioned for James and Harry to stand next to him. Past, present, and future Potter's all standing next to each other.

"Malfoy," Harry sneered at Draco, "That joke truly is getting old you have been doing it since third year."

"Whatever Potter," Malfoy sneered as he walked away from the group of kids on their way to detention.

"Sorry about that, but I suppose you do know how to produce a patronus. That was Draco Malfoy if you were wondering he's an absolute git if you ask anyone who isn't a Slytherin," Hermione told them.

"Crap, now were going to be late," Harry said checking his watch. They all but ran to their detention. They made it to detention just in time, Umbridge was waiting inside for them inside her office.

"Welcome, you will be writing lines today. I have special quills for you to use, and no you wont be needing any ink," Umbridge told the group as they took their seats. Harry and Hermione were the first to start knowing what they had to do.

"What should we be writing professor?" James Sirius asked the Professor that looked like a pig in a wig.

"You three will be writing 'I must not cause trouble'," Umbridge told them. James Sirius rolled his eyes annoyed. He started writing after a moment. At first he grimaced at the pain but once he had written it a couple of times he got used to the searing pain on the back of his hand.

"This is fun," Sirius said with a laugh.

"Ya, I mean this is the highlight of my day couldn't have asked for a better evening," James Sirius agreed with sarcasm.

"Be quiet! I do not allow you to speak!" Umbridge squeaked mad that they thought they could talk while in the middle of detention. The detention dragged on and on, it felt as if they were there for five hours rather then two. As they filed out of the office their hands were raw they stung.

"Can you guys please not tell any of the Weasley's Mrs. Weasley would freak out. I don't want Mr. Weasley to lose his job because of some detention," Harry asked the three other boys. All three of them nodded their heads saying they understood.

"Oh, I have to go meet Clara I promised I'd help her," James Sirius mumbled looking at his watch.

"Bye."

James Sirius ran the rest of the way to the common room so he and Lily Luna wouldn't be out to late. As he reached the common room Lily Luna was waiting on he couch reading a book.

"Hi Clara, are you ready to go?" James Sirius asked his little sister leaning against the back of the sofa.

"Yes, I was waiting for you. I have a question, where are we going to practice without getting caught?"

"I was thinking the room of requirement, I'll go grab my cloak for when were going back," James Sirius told his sister as he sprinted up the stairs to his dormitory. The dorm was empty, so James Sirius walked to the trunk that had been provided for him from Dumbledore, his cloak was sitting on the top of some books and he grabbed it and stuck it in his pocket. He stormed down the stairs and found that everyone had arrived back from detention and was lounging around the common room.

"Clara! Let's go!" James Sirius said as walked to the door waiting for her.

"Calm down, I'm coming," Lily Lunatold him standing up from her seat. Lily Luna followed James Sirius out of the common room and to the room of requirement. When they reached the wall that held the hidden room of requirement, James Sirius thought of exactly what they needed a room where they could practice defensive and offensive spells. The room he needed was a large space with places that he could test spells on.

"Have you learned how to produce a patronus yet?" James Sirius asked Lily Luna as he opened the door to a large room with plenty of space. James Sirius thought it was the perfect room to practice and that's exactly what it was, perfect.

"No, not yet Dad said he was going to teach me how," Lily Luna answered.

"Do you know the incantation?" James Sirius asked Lily Luna.

"No, I can never remember it at all," Lily Luna said with a sigh,

"Well the incantation is Expecto Patronum. Now can you say that for me?"

"Expeto Patonum."

"Close, but it's Expecto Patronum with a c and with an r."

"Okay, Expecto Patronum is that right?"

"Yes, that's correct now say it with your wand."

"Expecto Patronum!"

"Good you see that white mist that's coming out of your wand? Well that's a patronus it's just not powerful enough to get a full form. You have to think of your happiest thought, for me it's when I first got onto the house team."

"Okay. EXPECTO PATRONUM!"

"Good, it just takes practice. When I was twelve I was about as good as it as you are now. Now were going to do non-verbal spells. Were going to start with a simple one. Wingardium Leviosa and I know you already know it when you say it out loud so I thought it would be a good one to practice with. What you need to do is just concentrate on the spell in your head, say it over and over again. You have to concentrate on the spell okay?"

"Okay."

Lily aimed her wand at a book that had been sitting on a table in the corner. The book simply shook, James Sirius told his little sister it was a good start and that they could find another time to practice but that they should be getting ready for bed.

"Come on Lils get under the cloak," James Sirius said as he threw his invisibility cloak over himself and motioned for her to join him. "It's going to be a long night."
