Ron was right, James tried to ignore Lavender but her obsession was only multiplied. James Sirius Potter was getting quiet annoyed. It was almost a week later that James found himself walking alone down a corridor that he found Lavender once again next to him.
"How's my boyfriend?" Lavender asked wrapping her arm around his.
"I'm not your boyfriend Lavender."
"Okay, but I had the house elves make you some cookies, I just thought it would be nice," Lavender said offering a small bag of cookies to James. James took one not realizing that the cookies were laced with a love potion. James took a bite out of the cookie and immediately everything but Lavender was washed out of his mind.
"I love you Lavender!" James exclaimed with a grin, Lavender smiled back glad that her plan had worked.
"Now, come on Jamie we have to get to the great hall. I want you to meet my friends," Lavender told him pulling him toward the Great Hall. James followed willingly completely entranced by the potion. "You can call me Lav Lav Jamie."
"Whatever you want Lav Lav."
As the new couple arrived at the Great Hall Harry and Ron's jaws dropped but Hermione didn't seem all that surprised as she always knew what was happening.
"Don't be so surprised it's not his fault," Hermione stated as she rolled her eyes at the boys face.
"What do you mean Hermione he's obviously swooning over Lavender," Ron stated looking at the couple.
"Well, last night I heard Lavender talking to Parvati about just giving James a love Potion. Only because he wasn't going for her. It's obvious he gave it to him, we need to get him the antidote, otherwise it will just get worse until there isn't an antidote," Hermione explained as she rolled her eyes once more.
"You mean if we don't get him an antidote he could be stuck in love with Lavender Brown?" Harry asked amazed by the situation. At that moment James and Lavender kissed and the Golden Trio cringed.
"We better do it quick," Ron stated with a grimace.
"So here's the plan..." Hermione started.

James Sirius Potter thought that he was absolutely in love with Lavender Brown. He kissed her because he thought he was in love with her, he sat with her annoying friends because he thought he was in love with her.
"Lav Lav," James mumbled with a mystified grin on his features.
"Yes Jamie?" Lavender answered in a proud voice, she had successfully tricked a very powerful wizard.
"I Love you so much," James said as he kissed Lavender. Parvati Patil laughed as she knew what her friend had done. Lavender had discussed exactly what she was doing with her, Parvati was surprised that her best friend had actually pulled it off.
"Jamie why don't you go talk with your friends, it will make me happy," Lavender told him with a smile, he kissed her once again before walking down the table to Harry, Ron and Hermione.
As he took his seat he said, "Hello, you lot. I've had an amazing morning." Remembering how he had become girlfriend and boyfriend with Lavender Brown. Harry and James tried to hold in a laugh but failed miserably.
"That's great James, but remember that we have to meet with Professor Snape after breakfast," Hermione told him with a slight smile.
"But it's a Saturday Hermione, the one of two days I don't have detention with him," James stated looking at the girl with confusion.
"Yes, but remember he asked me and you to meet him in his classroom after breakfast today? Don't you remember?" Hermione asked in mock surprise.
"I-I guess not but your usually right, I'm just about done here what about you? I wan't to get back to Lav Lav as soon as possible," James told them as Harry and Ron burst out laughing, they simply couldn't contain themselves at the words Lav Lav.
"What?" James asked looking at the two boys who were almost doubled over in laughter.
"Oh, just ignore them they're gits," Hermione told him while standing up, "Let's go."

Hermione and James walked down to the dungeons where they normally sat their Potions lesson, however it was a Saturday and they weren't surrounded by talking Fifth years. Snape was in his classroom when they arrived, he was surprised to see them to say the least but that didn't stop him from being absolutely awful to them.
"What are you doing here, it's a Saturday if you hadn't noticed," Snape spat as he looked up from his work to find two proud Gryffindors.
"Well Sir, James here is under the impression of a potion," Hermione told their potions professor motioning to a day dreaming James, he was day dreaming of Lavender of course.
"And what potion is this Miss Granger?" Snape demanded finally intrigued by the conversation.
"A love potion Professor," Hermione told him looking over at James.
"Ah, I see and what do you expect me to do about it Miss Granger."
"Well Professor I was hoping you may have an antidote."
"And why would I do that, he doesn't seem to be in any immediate danger."
"Well Professor I'm not sure if Dumbledore told you but-"
"But Mister Potter here is from the future? Or that he is in fact the other chosen one, the one who has to help kill the Dark Lord? I am quiet aware."
"Well yes, he needs to be on top of things he can't think he's in love or he may just get himself killed in the process."
"I see, I will help him today Miss Granger, but in the future you will have to brew your own antidotes unless it is a life or death situation."
"Yes, of course Professor."
Snape went over to the closet on the left side of the dungeon. After about a minute Snape returned with a small vile. He handed to Hermione who then force fed it to a reluctant James complaining that he had to get back to Lavender. The effects were instantaneous, James rubbed his eyes and shook his head until he was back to normal.
"What did I do?" James mumbled smacking himself on the head.
