James Sirius missed his family dearly, they were very important to him after all. Yes, he talked with them over the two way mirror but it just wasn't the same. He regretted sending his siblings and cousins back but knew it was the right thing to do. He was becoming more and more close with Harry, Ron and Hermione not in a family sort of way but in a friend way. It didn't feel as if they were related to each other because they were the same age after all. James tried to ignore the feelings of longing but somehow the feelings always rushed to the surface. Mr Weasley was set to come home  that afternoon, Harry, Ron, Hermione, James, and the rest of the Weasley's were all getting ready for his arrival by apparation. They were told he was doing extremely well, to everyone's relief. Mr Weasley came back and they all enjoyed a meal prepared by Mrs Weasley and went to bed. James and Harry had the same dream night after night, the pain was always there and now for James he could tell you exactly what happened after Harry touched the triwizard cup. He talked with his parents daily before he went to bed. It got better over time, he was getting better and better with the fact that he couldn't see anyone in his family in person. He knew he was not going to make it back to his time unless he defeated Voldemort with Harry.

Before he knew it, it was time for him to go back to Hogwarts. They went to platform 9 and 3/4 where they ran into their friends and fellow DA members Neville, and Luna. Ginny went off with the two into a separate compartment while James, Hermione, Harry and Ron went to their own compartment.
"We should organize our next DA meeting now," James told them as he looked around the compartment.
"Okay, when should we do it?" Hermione asked pulling out the master gallon to change it to the correct date.
"How about the 10th so on Friday," Ron suggested after a moment of thought.
"It can't be then, the Ravenclaw's have quidditch practice Friday nights," Hermione told him pulling out a schedule of Ravenclaw's and Hufflepuff's quidditch schedule.
"Well no one has anything on Thursday," Hermione said reviewing the schedules.
"That should be good," Harry agreed just as the old woman pushing the trolley came to their compartment. "Anything from the Trolley dears?"
"Yes please," Harry said standing up from his seat. Harry grabbed lots of food which he shared with everyone, the rest of the trip they joked around and laughed, James Sirius Potter felt right at home.

When they got to the Great Hall, James I, Sirius, Remus, Lily, and Peter were already there. When James sat down next to them they bent in close to tell him something that was obviously important. "Dumbledore told us he found a way to send us back home, your family is gone by the way we weren't sure if you knew. He also told us to tell Harry who we are before we leave."

"Okay, I know that they are back I was the one who told Dumbledore to send them back without me when I left. As for telling Harry I think that's a good idea, he would want to know," James II told him nodding his head in understanding.
"Okay, were going back tomorrow morning and we just wanted you to know that well, it was nice meeting you. Do you think Harry will be happy to see us?" James I asked James II looking worried.
"Believe me, you have no need to worry, he'll be ecstatic," James II told him. James II ate dinner while talking closely as if it was the last person they would ever see each other because in truth it was the last time they would be seeing each other. James, Sirius and Remus cornered Harry just before he was about to leave the great hall. Harry saw them walk away deep in conversation. James left shortly after and went straight to the common room and from there to his empty dormitory. It made him feel empty having no one else to share the space with even if they were annoying at times they were still family no matter who you asked. James Sirius cast a silencing charm around his bed before he went to sleep, he didn't want anyone else knowing he was having these dreams.

When James II woke up the next morning he felt better then he did the day before however he had just lost multiple people who he had called friends. Harry, Ron and Hermione were already in the common room when he went down he sat across from them in one of the many assorted chairs.
"Have they left?" James asked them, they knew exactly who he was talking about and Harry just nodded not bothering to open his mouth as he didn't know what was going to come out of it.
"Mind if I crash in your dorm tonight? It's just I have no one left in my dorm."
"Ya, that's fine there is a bunch of extra bed's in ours now," Ron told him.
"We should head down to breakfast," Hermione said standing up from her seat on a love seat.
"Agreed," James answered with Ron and Harry following just behind. As they walked to the great hall the three walked up next to James.
"We heard a rummer," Ron told him with a grin.
"A rummer about what?" James asked curious.
"I feel bad for you," Harry said a small smile spreading across his features.
"Why? What is this rummer," James demanded becoming very curious.
"That Lavender Brown is going to try and get you to date her," Hermione told him with a laugh, James groaned as if he didn't already have enough on his plate.
"Who told you that?" James Sirius demanded looking annoyed.
"We heard her talking about it with Parvati Patil, we were under the cloak coming back from saying goodbye to the Marauders," Hermione told him with a laugh.
"Did they say when this would start?" James asked hoping that it had already happened and Lavender had already given up.
"She said she was going to start at breakfast today," Ron and Harry couldn't contain their laughter anymore and they both broke out in fits of laughter that made them have to stop walking.
"You people are no use," James stated annoyed, it was most certainly going to be very annoying having Lavender Brown following him around. They had finally made it to the great hall and to James's relief Lavender Brown was no where to be seen. They took a seat with James sitting next to Hermione with Ron and Harry sitting across from him. They were sitting talking when Lavender Brown came and sat directly next to James, very very close. James's eyes widened and Hermione, Harry and Ron tried to hold in a laugh.
"Hi James!" Lavender said completely ignoring Harry, Ron and Hermione.
"Hello Lavender," James answered rolling his eyes.
"I heard that you are really good at DADA I was wondering if you could help me with it," Lavender asked with puppy dog eyes.
"I don't think so Lavender," James told him rubbing his temple.
"I won't take no for an answer Jamie!" Lavender explain putting her hand on her arm.
"Jamie?" James said with his eyebrows raised.
"That's what I'm going to call you from now on, I'll see you on Wednesday for practice," Lavender told him and left before he could say no. Harry, Ron and Hermione couldn't contain there laughter and they burst into a fit of laughter of once more. James looked mortified which only made the trio laugh harder.
"What just happened," James said as he put his head in his hands.
"Lavender just forced you into a date," Harry answered in between laughs.

"I said no, didn't I?" James asked thinking over the short conversation.
"We heard you say no but Lavender only heard what she wanted to hear. Your trapped she wont leave you alone until Wednesday or after Wednesday," Hermione told him with a laugh.
"How do I get out of this?" James asked as he continued to eat.
"That's the best part you can't!" Harry told him as he continued to laugh. James glared at each and every one of them in turn.
"There has to be someway for me to get out of this! I told her no she can't except me to actually go!" James told them as he returned to his food once more
"If you don't go it will get worse, she did a similar thing to Seamus last year and he didn't go the flirting and whining got ten times worse then it was before," Ron told him recalling when there was a nearly identical situation one year prior.
"This is going to be brutal."
