"Did you cast a silencing spell or something?" Fred asked and James looked up at him.
"Yes."
James sat their not saying anything. Somehow the conversations with his family had just made everything worse. James had wheels turning in his head, was he a horcrux? Could he now be a Horcrux? Was that even possible? James rubbed his back again as it still ached from dying. James was tired, it felt as if his energy was being drained from it as he sat at the table.
"So what's your full name?" Tonks asked.
"James Sirius Potter."
"Are you okay? You look a little... drained," Hermione said from next to him.
"Wonderful."
"Are you sure? Hermione's right you look exhausted," Ron stated.
"A bit. I have detention with Umbridge in an hour I should get back to Hogwarts."
"You can't possibly leave now."
"I have a tradition to uphold. I have to annoy Umbridge as much as possible, especially now that she almost cast the Cruciotus curse on me. Good times before I died."
"Your not leaving, and James your not dead," Harry told him.
"Well actually, I do have to go. Fine, I'm not dead, but I did die so doesn't that make me dead? Maybe I'm ghost."
"Don't be ridiculous, you have detention basically every night, you could miss this one."
"That's even more detentions then Fred and George," Mrs Weasley said as Fred and George nodded in agreement.
"I've been told I either pull to many pranks or sometimes talk back to the teachers. It's fun, especially when Umbridge yells 'I must have order!'."
"Ah, good times," The twins said in unison. "So you pull pranks?"
"Yes," Harry, Ron, Hermione, Neville, Ginny, and Luna said in unison as James shrugged.
"Are they any good?" George asked.
"Yes," They said in unison once more.
"How do you manage to make them good?" The twins demanded intrigued.
"Well, I have a little help from Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs. As well as non verbal spells."
"Your only a fifth year, you don't know non-verbal spells," Bill pointed out.
"No, he most definitely does," Hermione stated.
"I do. It also helps when I make spells. They come in handy."
"You can make spells?" Bill asked.
"Yes, some are more useful then others. I have a lot of time on my hands now that I don't have Quidditch."
"You play Quidditch? I didn't know that," Harry stated.
"I play loads of Quidditch, I was captain of my house team in my time. I play Seeker, Chaser, and I'm a decent Beater or Keeper. But I mainly play Seeker or Chaser."
"I think that's enough talking, why don't we head up to bed," Molly told them and they all nodded and stood up from their seats. "James where are you staying this summer?"
"I'm staying at um... Privet Drive."
"Your staying where?" Harry demanded.
"That's what Dumbledore told me at least."
"Do my Aunt and Uncle know this?" Harry asked.
"I don't know."
The conversations pretty much ended their as everyone went up to bed. James and Harry slept with the same nightmares except James casted a silencing charm around him. When he woke up in the morning he felt much better and back to his regular self. His back was no longer sore and he felt normal... there was no other way to explain it. Harry and Ron were no longer in their beds and so James walked down the stairs to the into the kitchen to find everyone in there.
"Hello," James said as he took a seat at one of the kitchen seats.
"Hey," came from different voices around the room.
"Would you lie some breakfast?" Mrs Weasley asked and James nodded, he was ravenous as he hadn't eaten anything since lunch the previous day. There were conversations popping up all around the place and eventually James realized why they were so happy, Lucius Malfoy had been taken into custody by the Ministry of Magic and they hadn't lost anyone on their side thanks to James that was. It was later in the day that Sirius found James and asked for a word.
"James, why did you ask for me to step away from the veil?" Sirius asked in a whisper. "Was I supposed to die yesterday?"
"Yes, from the time line I came from you died by being stunned and knocked back into the veil. The Veil killed you, I decided I wasn't going to let that happen," James answered in a serious whisper.
"Thank you, but you should know that it's dangerous to mess with time."
"I know, however nothing really changed the same things happened because Harry thought you were dead."
"Well then, thank you James. I appreciate it."

After lunch those still in Hogwarts headed back to find Dumbledore reinstated as Headmaster and Umbridge no where to be seen. Before they could do anything else it was the last day of the school year and they had to leave. A few days prior Nigel had approached him with the cloak, he looked happy which was nice to see for James as he had been down in the dumps a bit since the battle at the Department of Mysteries. The night before James was supposed to go back onto the Hogwarts Express Dumbledore summoned him to his office. James already knew the password and said it easily and the Gargoyle jumped to the side revealing a doorway. James walked up the spiraled staircase where at the top there was another door, as James pulled open the door it revealed Albus Percival Wolfric Brian Dumbledore, someone James wasn't going to be able to save.
"You asked for me to come Professor?" James asked as he opened the door.
"Yes James, I wanted you to know that I have spoken with the Dursley's and however reluctantly have decided to let you stay with them. I admit they aren't the best people when it comes to magic you will be safe there due to the protections with your grandmother and sorts."
"Alright Professor. Is there anything else?"
"Yes, I wan't you to be careful, will you be?"
"I'll try to be Professor."
"Then that is all James, you should go pack your trunk that was provided for you at the beginning of this year."
"Goodbye Professor."
