Shards of light speared through the Tibetan bamboo roman shade blinds in the massive bedroom of the villa.  Caleb lay still on his side, his head cradled in his bicep facing this woman who has turned his world upside down and unselfishly gifted him with  her innocence; a symbol of her trust. He sifted through the snippets of memory of the night before and they came barreling into his consciousness like the floodgates of emotion opened to wash over him.  He had had nightmares since his accident and winced at the memory of waking up drenched in sweat, tears and snot on his face and undoubtedly a horrified look in his eyes.  They haunted him so often that he fears to sleep at night, and every time he wakes up from the night terrors he would find himself in Ryder’s room and his cramped bed.  It was the only salve to soothe his fears, being in arms length of his son.  Finding Kaitlin with her worried look and protective arms around him as he emerges from the darkness was just another testimony of her kindness and dare to say love for him.  He hadn’t planned on anything, he never orchestrated the events that would have led them to make love, heck he didn’t even bring a condom to prove to her that all he wanted was the chance to talk, bridge the years of their separation and clear the cobwebs of too many unanswered questions.  But then he would and could never regret it for even a minute, his soul sang with hers as soon as he felt himself sheathed in her warm flesh; he instantly felt himself stir down south at just the mere thought of having her again.  But he decided he was going to be a considerate lover and wait until she recovers from being sore after her first time.  Lovers.  He thought. Is that what they are now? Not that he has any objections to it but he wanted something – more with her; something more permanent because it was what she deserves.  Hell, she could be carrying his kid now after having emptied his seed that could bring life.  He smiled at the thought of a small version of Kaitlin who would surely have him wrapped around her cute pudgy fingers.  The sound of a deep sexy sigh from Kaitlin brought him out from his musings and watched her stretch out causing the duvet to slide down her sinuous curve to her waist, exposing her breasts that fit perfectly in his hands that he ached to take her nipples into his mouth.  She didn’t wake yet but her stance with one arm beside her head and the other resting on her abdomen made her look like a goddess awaiting for his hero to take her again and again, claiming her for his own and infusing his scent to mark her so no other man can even think of stealing her away from him.  She took his breath away that he traced her lines from her cheek, down to her swollen lips, the column of her neck and with the back of his fingers caressed her nipple until they looked pointed as he pinched.  Along with her slow awakening from sleep, he positioned himself above her pinning her hands above her head and started kissing her neck, savoring her dizzying scent only she can emit.  The smell of her distinct whiff of sweet vanilla mixed with the musky scent of sex was a powerful aphrodisiac that wreaked havoc to all his sensory neurons; disabling what was left of his control that he slid home again.  He was not surprised that she was already slick and wet; his woman even in sleep awakens to his touch and calls out to him.  He slowly retracted and pushed forward while nipping at her earlobe and sucked. He let go of her arms and slowly moved inside her until he felt her hands grab his ass cheeks and dug her nails in one that turned him on even more.

“Uhh…mmm.  C-Caleb w-what are you doing? ahhh..”  Kaitlin whimpered.

“Making love to you.” He whispered. “Are you feeling sore honey?”

“I—ahh..mm I think i-it’s a little too late to ask me that.”

Caleb chuckled but quickened his movements. “You’re so tight. I have never been without a sock before but you feel so good. I love being inside you.”  He then kissed her fully in the mouth, their tongues melded in a dance of deep affection.  He lifted her hip for a deeper penetration.  “Damn you feel so good.”

Kaitlin was beginning to feel that frantic point of release, his turgid length filled her body and soul. But she could not fully engage her heart in it because of fear; fear of getting hurt again.  She gave and he took; he possessed and she’d let him because all these years of emptiness Caleb was the only love she had ever known and perhaps in this lifetime the only love she could hope to ever have.  He tore down her walls so easily, he brought down her defenses with no chance of retreat, he took everything that is left to give and in a fleeting moment she still felt hollow; a deep ache in her gut that if he leaves she would never survive the pain and at the same time thinking there could never be a future for them with all that has happened.
