The Last Text Message

The man, who I thought was a homeless guy, left us flabbergasted. I don't know anything about him, but there's something in his character that eases our minds and it feels that everything will just work out fine if it's him. The dreadfulness on Michelle's face suddenly fades, I hope she could sleep well tonight. Or maybe, she will be like me --- thinking about that mysterious guy named Beta.

The next morning, I reached my phone as habit, I've noticed that there's a text message from Michelle. She texted me last night, 11:38 PM ----

ive e-Mailed you about what i know about the Abyss syndicate. i dont reaLLy know much but i think i should tell you asap. Of course, the attached file is password protected. Well, knowing you and your friend beta, i know that you can Solve it.

I'm sure Beta would be elated to know this. I need to tell Beta about this, because I don't really have any idea of what the password is. Michelle might have overestimated me too much, she must have thought that the genius that Beta showcased yesterday was credited to both of us, she didn't know that it was Beta alone who solved everything down to every smallest details.

And while I was preparing for breakfast, I received another text message. It was from Jason, our class representative ----

Dormitory rooms don't have any televisions. The only television accessible to us was the one located at the lobby. So I immediately ran down to the lobby, and there I saw some of my classmates. Their faces told me everything. But still, I still asked...

"Hey! Is it true that Michelle..."I hesitatingly said.

"I can't believe it! It really was Michelle de Guzman! Our classmate" Jessie cried.
