The view of sunflowers surrounding me is so grandeur. It feels like I'm being comforted by these sunflowers. I never knew that these flowers would give me so much joy. It's like a therapy for me, who's been into deep danger because of Abyss Syndicate. I feel like I'm being showered by the rays of light from the sun just like these sunflowers.

And what makes it more refreshing is that Beta's face is just like as always - looking for somewhere he could sleep. I can really see that he's trying his best just by standing straight. Sorry Beta, but I just can't see any bench in here, not unless, you want to lie in this muddy soil.

So funny, he looks so stupid. Is he really the one who perfected the University entrance exam? He looks like a complete moron. He's the one who suggested that we go here, now, he's the one who's really bored and eager to go back.

May be I should tease him more.

"Beta, let's go to Burnham park after this." I said with a smirk on my face.

"No problem with me." Beta said.

I was shocked when he agreed to go. I was so sure that he was gonna complain, but he looks matured this time. I felt sorry for teasing him. I was wrong he's actually caring and sensitive in his own way.

What's good in this vacation is that we have a personal driver. If only Clarissa is not part of the syndicate, I would love to be her friend. At least, I should express my gratitude for all of this.

We're on our way to Burnham Park. As I observe Beta - he is looking up in the sky for almost all throughout the trip. He must be deep in thought. People tend to look up when thinking. Maybe, he's bluffing about knowing the identity of the ghost.

Then slowly, I heard the sound of the rain pouring. It starts to rain really bad. Drops of rain is covering the windshield. The driver starts to turn on his wiper.

"At last!" Beta blurted.

"What?" I said in confusion.

"Nothing." he answered. "Brii, I hate to say this but I think we can't go to Burnham Park. It's raining and it would be a useless struggle if we still went on. It won't be enjoyable considering how heavy this rain is. I think it's best to return to the hotel."

Damn it! I just realized why he's so intent on staring at the sky - he was waiting for the rain! Where did all my concerns go? I even changed my perception towards this bastard, but I guess I'm wrong again. He's a complete moron.

I could have won if the rain would stop, but it's raining for quite a time already. It's already 6 PM and the rain won't just stop. It's really cold. Beta must be sleeping in his room right now. I can't think of any better thing to do so I just studied since I intend to compete against Clarissa.

My studying went on until it was dinner time. I can't expect any interesting thing from Beta, so after eating, I went straight back to studying.

The rain seems like getting stronger. I can hear the sound of thunder outside. It surely is the worst time for a ghost hunting.

I didn't realize that it's already midnight. I should get something to eat. My refrigerator is just full beer that I can't stand. I don't really like alcoholic drinks.

So I decided to go out of my room. Upon stepping out, it's really dark and eerie. It's just like straight up from a horror scene, the elevator is very far away, the sound of the rain is louder, the flashes of lighting and the sound of thunder really get to my nerves. But I'm an intellectual person, I don't believe in something that don't exist under the branch of science. Ghosts aren't real. They are just hallucinations created by our bored brain just to make a stimulating effect.
