I am really excited for today cause the boys and I are going to Winter Wonderland tonight, though we will go to Westfield first to buy some Christmas gifts for our families. After getting ready, I text Andy; saying that I am ready to go and as I gather my things, he texts me back and says that he and the lads will be at the park in a couple minutes. I put my phone, wallet, and make up into my backpack and put one of the straps onto my shoulder, as I go out into the hallway.

“Mom,” I shout, as I walk down the staircase. “I am leaving!”

I walk into the Living room and give her a quick hug, before I head to the front door.

“Don’t go anywhere without the lads, okay?” she says, which reminds me of what happened before at the nature park.

“I won’t, don’t worry.” I giggle. “Bye, see you later, love you.”

“Bye, sweetheart, love you too.” she replies, waving at me.

I smile at her, before heading out of our house and onto the doorstep. I walk across the street and I hear the boys shouting from the distance. Mikey’s the first one to see me and when he did, he waves at me in enthusiasm and jogs toward me.

“Hi,” he smiles and pulls me into a hug. “how are you?”

“Good, you?” I ask, pulling away from him.

“I feel great, thank you.” he replies with a smile and the two of us start to walk towards the play area, where the boys are.

“Hi, Alexa!” Andy chirps, when we reach them.

I smile and wave at him, “Hello.”

“Alexandria!” Rye shouts, as he jogs towards us.

A week or so had past after the incident at the nature park and now, Rye and I are comfortable around each other. We get along really well and I learn a lot of new things about him every time that I am with the boys; it turns out that we have a lot in common.

“Ryan!” I laugh, mimicking his tone.

He laughs and puts his arm around my shoulder, “I missed you.”

“As if we didn’t saw each other yesterday.” I mutter.

He pouts and removes his arm off of me, making me laugh. He starts to walk away, but I quickly pull him back.

“I am just kidding, Ryan.” I say whilst laughing.

He smiles and pinches my cheek lightly that it didn’t really hurt. As I rub my cheek, I notice Andy and Mikey are both looking at me with a teasing smile.

   “What?” I ask them.

“Nothing.” Mikey casually replies, but his smile says otherwise.

Andy, on the other hand, shakes his head; trying his best to stifle his laugh. Before any of us could say anything, we see Brook walking towards us with a boy with blonde hair. I haven’t seen him before, but Andy did said that they have a new trialist so it must be him.

“Who’s that?” I ask Rye, who’s next to me.

“Benji, he’s our new trialist from Glastonbury.” he replies.

I just nod, as Brook and Benji come over to us.

“Hi,” Brooklyn smiled at me. “sorry, took us a while.”

  “It’s okay.” Mikey assures him.

Benji’s just looking at me and when Andy notices it, he immediately speaks up.

“Benji, this is Alexandria.” Andy says, already next to me.

“Just call me Alexa.” I smile, as I put my hand out to him.

He shakes my hand and smiles as he says, “Benji, it’s a pleasure to meet you.”

“It’s nice to meet you too.” I reply.

The boys and I start to walk down the sidewalk and head to the train station. On the way there, I am quite uncomfortable because Benji keeps on looking at me whilst they talk to each other. Later on, when Benji’s looking at me; Rye looks back at me and he must’ve notice that I was uncomfortable so he walks up to me and puts his arm around my shoulder.

   “Are you alright?” he asks.

I just nod and smile at him a little.

“You look uncomfortable.” he says and looks over at Benji, who quickly looks away.

“Nah, I am alright.” I assure him and look away from him.

“You want me to talk to him?” he asks, causing me to immediately look at him.

“What?” I utter, taken a back by his question. “That won’t be necessary, Ryan, but thank you.” I smile and he nods.

“Just tell me if he’s making you way too comfortable, Andy and I are going to talk to him.” he replies.

I scoff, “You’re just like him when we first met, you know.”

“What makes you say that?” he asks, wrapping his fingers around the pole and rests his head against it as he looks down at me.

I look away from him, getting conscious by the way he looks at me.

“You love to stare, the only difference is that he isn’t that shy that I barely heard him talk, you barely talked before.” I say.

“I know, but that was months ago.” he chuckles.

“Why were you like that anyways?” I ask, finally looking at him.

He stares at me for a couple seconds whilst he thinks about it and looks away, “Nothing.”

I didn’t say anything and just look at him, we just got to know each other a few months ago yet I already know if he’s hiding something.

As we walk around the shopping centre, Andy suddenly just takes my wrist and pulls me away from the boys.

“Let’s go, you are going to help me look for a Christmas present.” he says.

“For whom?” I ask, walking faster to keep up with him.

“My family and the boys.” he replies.

I chuckle and nod, it reminds me of before; when we used to go shopping together to buy our families and friends Christmas gifts. We spent an hour or so at a specific store, just looking for a gift for our families. By the time that we are through, Andy’s phone starts to ring.

“Hello?” he asks. “Yeah, okay, we’ll be there in a minute.” he says and ends the call.

I just look at him, waiting for him as he puts his phone back into his pocket.

“Let’s go, Rye told us to meet up at the entrance so we could go to Winter Wonderland already.” he smiles, helping me with the shopping bags.

I didn’t say anything and just nod. Andy and I start to walk to the entrance, with the shopping bags on our hands. We are just quiet, until Andy speaks up.

“So, how are you and Rye?” he asks out of the blue, which took me by surprise.

“Me and Rye,” I utter anxiously. “uh, we’re okay, we’re getting along pretty well.”

He nods, “Well, that’s good to know.” he says with a smile.

“Yeah.” I reply, a smile tugging at the corners of my lips.

“Is that it?” he asks after a few seconds. “I mean, how do you feel about him?”

I furrow my eyebrows, “What do you mean?”

“Nothing, forget about it.” he chuckles and walks faster.

I just smile, as the two of us continue to walk to the entrance that we came into earlier to meet up with the boys and go to Winter Wonderland.
