As the silence came, Scarlett just sat, watching her hands, Jeremy sighed lightly, rubbing his forehead. "Scarlett.. Maybe it's best if we aren't together.. I mean.. it was great.. us being friends.. but I don't think us being together was meant to be... you know?" He said softly, Scarlett looking up to him, her eyes watery.
"But.." Scarlett said softly, Jeremy looked down, unable to look at her. She looked so upset.
"I'm sorry, Scar." Jeremy said softly, sitting beside her, pulling her into a gentle hug, Scarlett just sitting there, mostly in disbelief.
"If you're sorry, you wouldn't be doing this," Scarlett cried lightly, carefully wiping her cheeks, ruining her make up.
"Scarlett, please don't make this harder than it has to be." Jeremy told her, which outraged Scarlett. She pushed him away, standing up.
"Me making this harder? Everything was fine until you just ended everything!" Scarlett told him. Wiping her eyes, Jeremy just looked down, lowering his head.

As the day went by, Scarlett had returned back to her home, they coming to an agreement to "take a break".
Scarlett laid on her couch, closing her glossy blue eyes as her chihuahua Maggie jumped up and laid beside her. "Hey Maggie." Scarlett sniffed, wiping her cheeks still.
Scarlett had a little cuddle with her tiny pooch before getting up and taking the stairs up to the bathroom. A nice long bath was what she needed.
Sinking into the steaming water, Scarlett let out a soft sigh, resting her head back as she water engulfed her body. She watched the ceiling lightly, biting her fingernail slightly. She wanted to be with Jeremy, however she didn't believe he felt the same way.
However, Jeremy sat in silence in the house. He missed her already. He only said they should take a break, because he didn't want their relationship to suffer over the long distance. But he had screwed up big time. Now he thought Scarlett would never want to look at him again.
The worst thing was, they had a party to go to, to promote The Avengers. He was thinking of not turning up. But he knew Scarlett, and he knew she would think he was avoiding her.
Jeremy got up and walked to his bedroom, looking for a tux he would wear for the party. He was absolutely in love with Scarlett. He didn't know why he'd want to end things between them, but he just wanted to make sure their relationship didn't suffer. He really should have explained that to the poor woman.
As the night rolled by, Scarlett had climbed about of her bath and drained the water. She set a out finding an outfit for the party that night. Scarlett was never one to miss a good party. She settled on a purple dress which complimented her figure, and had an open back which displayed her perfect skin. Her hair being quite short still, from the movie, was a brown/blonde mix but she made it work.
Scarlett went about doing her makeup and slightly curling her hair to make it wavy. Satisfied, she pulls out her heels, sliding into them. Then echo of her heels clipped down the hallway as she put her towels in the laundry basket. Scarlett was supposed to go to the party with Jeremy. However, she didn't think that was happening.
Scarlett walked to her phone, telling Siri to text Tom and ask him to pick her up. Tom being Tom Hiddleston, who played the villainous Loki, in the film. Scarlett was quite close to him. She was quite close to all the case really. Especially Cobe who was the only other woman on set.
Tom replied with "Of course, gorgeous." Ever the charmer. She chuckled softly to herself, picking up her purse after putting her lipstick in it as well as some money for drinks, etc.
Scarlett grinned when she heard the beep of Tom's car out front. She kissed Maggie's head in a goodbye, before walking out and locking the door behind her. She smiled, Tom getting out to open the door for her. Scarlett smiled lightly, climbing inside. "Ms. Johansson. Looking beautiful as always." Tom grinned with his British accent. Scarlett chuckled lightly.
"Mr Hiddleston. How do you keep looking so handsome?" Scarlett shot back, Tom giving his cute wide grin and a soft laugh as he climbed in beside her.
"Touché, my friend." Tom smirked as he pulled out of the driveway, Scarlett chuckled as she slipped on her seatbelt, looking up to Tom and giving a goofy smile, Tom laughing and smiling back.
Scarlett smiled, she loved spending time with Tom but somehow, she wished it was Jeremy she was going to the party with. Stop thinking about him, Scarlett! He dumped you! He got rid of you! She couldn't help but think, which made her good mood plummet down to nothing. Scarlett forced a smile when Tom looked at her.
As they pulled up to the curb, Scarlett didn't know what she was going to do. Tom would have all the girls swooning over him, Chris H and Robert would be with their wife's. There was only Chris E, as in Chris Evans. Captain America, most know him as.
Tom climbed out, opening her door for her, Scarlett smiling softly. "Thank you." She chuckled softly, Tom pulling her into a careful hug before he shut the door and locked the car. Scarlett smiled softly, walking onto the red carpet, smiling as she turned to the cameras.
Jeremy was on the red carpet the exact same time Scarlett was. He watched her as she posed for the photos, smiling and talking with a few interviewers. He couldn't believe he let her go because of a stupid mistake. It was all his fault. And she was leaving the states soon.
