Walking through the door, Scarlett sighed happily, still nursing a small baby bump but it was beginning to vanish as she was breastfeeding. "Want me to take her?" Jeremy smiled softly, Scarlett looking up to him from their baby girl in the carrier, nodding softly.

"Thanks." Scarlett smiled, Jeremy knowing she was still a little weak from giving birth. Jeremy smiled, trading Rose's baby blanket to Scarlett, for the carrier.

"Go lay down. You need your rest still." Jeremy told her, kissing her forehead before hugging her, wrapping one arm around her. Even though Scarlett shook her head, Jeremy was persistant. "Baby, I'm not taking no for an answer." He said, pulling back to see Scarletts pount.

"Only for an hour." She finally gave in, Jeremy smiling at his victory. Scarlett sighed, turning to walk up the stairs. Which she did.

Jeremy set the carrier by the couch, he getting Rose out of it and sitting on the couch with her, watching his new born baby girl. "You look so much like your mommy." He soothed, letting her hold his finger when she began to call out. "I'm here, baby girl." Jeremy smiled, kissing her forehead. "Daddy will always be here for you."

From her seat on the stairs, Scarlett watched through the gaps of the railings. Her smile was wide, able to sit and watch the two people she loved so dearly forever. Growing more tired, Scarlett got up and walked into their bedroom and cocooned herself within the sheets.

Downstairs, Jeremy was still cuddled up with his daughter, watching some sappy old movie he and Scarlett had watched once. So many times in fact, he could recite the words.

The two sat like that for a good hour or so, until Jeremy decided to put Rose down in her little bassinet for the first time, tucking her in with a blanket. He kissed her forehead gently, turning on the baby monitor, then jogged upstairs turning the one on in their master bedroom before joining Scarlett on the bed, smiling at the sight of her cuddled into the sheets.

Not wanting to disturb her, Jeremy settled down and joined Scarlett in a nap that he thinked they both deserved.

Later on in the day, Scarlett sat on the couch nursing Rose while Jeremy was preparing dinner. Watching the daytime ads on the teleshopping channel. Scarlett pouted softly as she watched the wedding dresses being displayed and auctioned off in front of her eyes. "When are we getting married, baby?" Scarlett asked, Jeremy appearing from the kitchen.

"When Rose is a little older I guess." Jeremy said softly, walking over to his little family. "It'll be nice seeing her in a little dress." He smiled, kissing the top of Scarletts head. "What do you think?" He asked softly.

"I wanna be married as soon as possible, Jer." Scarlett said softly, looking down to Rose who was still nursing. "I want us to be a family. No missing links or loose ties." She said softly, looking up to Jeremy who was rubbing his chin in thought.

"Alright." He nodded, moving his hand to rub the back of his head. It wasn't like they couldnt afford it.
