We Found Love

Chapter 32

Once the nursery was set up to both Scarlett and Jeremys standards, they allowed themselves to relax on the white couch that was in the room, for Scarletts nursing needs. They had agreed on no formula. Scarlett cuddled into Jeremy, she had invited all of their friends and close-by family members to their little party. "Hungry?" Jeremy asked, practically reading Scarletts mind.

"Always." She smirked softly, closing her eyes. "I want cookie dough." She told him, her cravings never ended. Though she had strayed away from dairy products such as cheese.

"Ice cream?" Jeremy asked, raising an eyebrow to which he gained a nod. Smiling, he kissed her forehead, cheek then her lips. "I'll run out and get some, and other stuff for the party as well." Scarlett yawned softly as she went to speak, which made Jeremy chuckle. "You catch some sleep, baby." He grinned, walking her to their room where she would be much more comfortable.

"Hm, bye baby." Scarlett smiled lazily once she was in bed, Jeremy tucking her in so she was warm. Scarlett was on her back as usual, her half lidded, gorgeous eyes focused on the love of her life as she watched him grin.

"I'll wake you after a couple hours." Jeremy told her, watching as she closed her eyes before he hastily left to buy the food she wanted in a serplus quantity.

Jeremy returned home not long after leaving, loading everything into the correct place before kicking off his shoes and quietly walking up to bedroom where his fiance was sleeping still. He stood at the doorway, grinning at the beautiful sight. Jeremy understood how much her back ached with carrying a baby, and he knew how sleep was a blessing for her, especially when their baby was restless and kicking constantly. After little debate, Jeremy rid himself of his clothes to change into shorts before climbing into bed next to her, wrapping his strong arm around her as she turned to rest her head against his chest.

The two must have laid in that same position for a while before the beginning signs of Scarlett waking up were apparent. "Whats the time?" She asked tiredly, not bothering to open her eyes yet.

"Almost 7pm." Jeremy said quietly, running his fingers through her hair. "We still have plenty of time." He soothed, Scarlett nodding gently. "Have a good sleep?" He asked, kissing her forehead gently, to which Scarlett smiled.

"Better than I've had in weeks." Scarlett hummed, letting out a gentle sigh. "I think the baby decided I deserved a decent sleep for once." She chuckled tiredly, nuzzling her face into his chest. "I dont wanna wake up though. I'm so comfortable."

Jeremy chuckled, and they laid there for at least 10 more minutes before Scarlett shook her head and attempted to sit up. "Uh huh." She said, still shaking her head. "Scratch that, I godda pee." She said, Jeremy hiding his smirk as he helped her out of their bed and watched her pad towards the toilet. He waited for her to go before he let out a soft laugh, shaking his head as he went to prepare little snacks for their party.

Taking her time to shower and change, Scarlett settled on a baggy shirt and stretchy pants. She wanted to dress up, even if it was just a little. She applied minimal make-up and blow-dryed her hair and curled it slightly before heading downstairs seeing Jeremy had already set out all the food and made the drinks. "Wow, you're really helpful today." Scarlett grinned brightly, walking to Jeremy who smiled, she kissing his lips softly.

"Well I can't let you do everything all the time, can I?" He chuckled. "By the way, you look extremely sexy." Jeremy smiled, stepping back slightly, taking her all in. Scarlett smiled shyly, looking up to him quietly, making him chuckle.

"Oh, stop." Scarlett chuckled, waving her hand dismissively at his compliment as she went to sit on the couch. "People will be turning up soon." She told him, resting her hands on her bump. She didnt know whether or not she would be able to endure the whole party, but it was her idea, and she would see it out to the end.

Before they knew it, the night was already underway. Cobie and Scarlett were cooing over soon-to-be baby Renner, whereas Jeremy was with the Chris', Mark and Robert. "When's the baby due?" Chris Evans asked, before drinking some of his beer.

"A month or so." Jeremy said softly, not drink so Scarlett wasn't on her own. Robert smirked, patting his back.

"You'll shit yourself in the delivery room, but when you see what comes out of it all, you won't ever wanna leave their side." He nodded softly, having had a baby recently with his own wife. Tonight was a rare night out.

"I just can't wait to see who it'll look like." Mark smiled charmingly, looking to the guys.

"I hope it'll look like Scarlett, with any hope." Jeremy chuckled, the other four men laughing along with him.

Over on pretty much the other side of the room, Scarlett and Cobie were talking about labour preparation. "I've already packed my overnight bag for the hospital and everything. The nursery is all set out. We couldnt be more prepared." She chuckled.

"This early?" Cobie chuckled, looking over to Jeremy. "He wont quit telling everyone about you and the baby. We're all jealous." She smiled, watching as Scarlett giggled.

"I think the world of him. He's been so helpful lately. He wont let me do anything myself. The only think I can do myself is go to the bathroom." Scarlett laughed. "I love being pregnant, but I miss being able to shower myself, y'know?" She smiled as Cobie nodded.

"I don't, but there'll hopefully be a point where I do." She chuckled, walking with Scarlett to get something to eat. They both settling on pizza.

Back over at Jeremy, they were all sharing old Avengers memories of being on set and the parties also, before Cobie came running over to them. "Scarlett needs you. I think shes in labour." Chris H, Chris E, Mark and Robert all looked from Cobie to Jeremy who looked ready to pass out.
