Scarlett walked along the red carpet, posing for pictures, giving a slight pout here and there. Jeremy watched her discretely, before heading into the party. Scarlett followed shortly after, the lights were pulsing with colour, the sound of the music shaking the floor and colliding with the walls. Scarlett couldn't help but smile lightly. This is not what she was expecting.

Scarlett headed over to the bar first of all. "Can I get a beer?" She asked the bartender, sitting at on of the stools. Jeremy watched her from afar, now knowing if he should do to her or not. He just couldn't decide. Once Scarlett received her beer, she lightly sipped from it.

Jeremy stayed where he was, Chris Evans walking over to the troubled man. "What's up, Renner?" He asked, Jeremy's heart ached. That's what Scarlett used to call him.

"Oh, nothing." Jeremy gave a soft smile, Chris watching him slightly, raising an eyebrow.

"Now I know that's not true because you keep looking at Scar as though she's someone forbidden." Chris said softly glancing over to Scarlett who was talking to the other Chris. "What's happened between you to? You were so close." He said softly.

Jeremy sighed, Chris was a good friend. "We were dating for a while, but I made a stupid mistake." He sighed softly, rubbing his forehead. Chris watched him quietly for a few seconds.

"Well, I can't say I'm surprised." Chris said softly. "To be honest.. I always thought you and Scarlett had something going on.." He said softly, itching the back of his neck nervously.

Jeremy smiled a little. "Yeah?" He asked, looking up to his tall friend. His muscle had began to disappear. It wasn't like Chris to keep his well earned muscle after a movie anyway.

"Yeah. I mean.. you're always together. With interviews and even off set! Its kinda hard not to think it." Chris told him, Jeremy thought back to when they were still filming. Jeremy and Scarlett had spent more time with each other than with their other costars. "I actually had a small crush on Scarlett, but I didn't do anything because I knew you like her. Everyone knows." He told his friend.

Jeremy's eyes widened in their sockets, looking up to Chris. "Everyone?" He said. He didn't think it was that obvious.

"Yeah." Chris chuckled. "The constant looks between you two. The longing stares like she was forbidden fruit." He smiled lightly. Jeremy rubbed his arm slightly. "We have all been rooting for you to to start dating. We were all waiting for the announcement." Chris laughed softly.

Jeremy smiled lightly, looking to the bar to see Scarlett staring right at him. Jeremy's heart skipped a beat, making him hold his breath as he held her gaze, before she looked away. Jeremy looked back up to Chris who rested his hand on his friends shoulder. "Jeremy. Don't let her slip away, whatever you do. Some guy will walk into her life and sweep her off of her feet. Lets hope it's you, huh?" He said softly, before walking away to find his girlfriend.

Jeremy watched him leave, before looking back to the bar to see Scarlett wasn't there. He sighed softly, walking up to the bar and getting a beer. He looked down into his bottle, staring into it solemnly. "You have to stop staring at me." A familiar, sexy, raspy voice said from beside him. Jeremy turned to see Scarlett, trying to contain his smile.

"You were staring at me first." He told her, smirking softly. He watched her try to come up with a comeback but she couldn't think of one. Scarlett thought it would be best to clear the water and be friends again. She didn't want to loose him.

"Fuck you, Renner." Scarlett chuckled, unable to think of anything just then. She leaned against the bar with her beer bottle in her hand.

"You wish." Jeremy smirked, he liked the fact he was back in her good books. He couldn't survive if he lost her. She really did make him a better man.

"I have." Scarlett quirked an eyebrow, watching him with a smirk. She grinned at the growing smile on his mouth. She loved his smile. She loved him.

"Touché, Ms Johansson. Touché." Jeremy chuckled softly, Scarlett laughing lightly. He watched her quietly, not knowing what to say. Jeremy decided to wing it. "Scarlett.. I've lost the most important woman in my life.. I've hurt her, when I never ever thought I would hurt her. All I want to do is keep her close, and I've let her go." Jeremy said softly, Scarlett watching him softly. "Scarlett.. I want her back." He said softly.

Scarlett's eyes watched him quietly, her hand reaching up to his cheek. Her gentle fingers brushed against his stubble. "You need to shave." Scarlett said softly, giggling softly which made Jeremy laugh softly resting his hands on her waist as he leaned in to kiss her. Scarlett closed her eyes instantly, setting her beer on the bar as she placed her hands on the side of his head as she kissed him back.

Their kiss seemed to last forever, but there was no complains from either party. Though Chris had seen them from the lounge part. He smiled lightly, glad Jeremy had made up from his mistake. "Couldn't last a day without me, huh?" Scarlett smiled softly, her forehead against his.

"Not a minute." Jeremy whispered, capturing her lips in another kiss, to which Scarlett couldn't help but hum into. A strangely sensual habit. She wrapped her arms around his neck. Scarlett rested her forehead against his.

"Are you travelling with me?" Scarlett asked softy, looking up to him. His face was conflicted. Debating within himself.

"I really want to Scar, but I think it's best for me to stay here." Jeremy said softly, he saw the disappointment on her face and he wanted to fall to his knees and declare he would never leave her side. "But baby, Ill call you everyday. No matter if its the middle of the night." Jeremy told her, seeing her smile.

"I'm gonna hold you to that.' Scarlett smiled softly, hugging him again, smiling when his strong arms wrapped around her. She sighed happily. "I love you." She hummed against his chest.

"I love you too, Hot Sauce." Jeremy whispered into her hair, his eyes closed lightly. His grin spread across his face. "Always." He soothed.
