Finally stepping out of the store, Jeremy was a little tense when Scarlett told him about their own little story on the news. He seemed to notice everyone staring even more. It got him a little paranoid.
Scarlett noticed this and tightened her grip on his hand. "Relax." whispered Scarlett as she looked up to him. "You walked in here fine, there is no reason you shouldn't walk out the same." Scarlett told him.
Jeremy watched her quietly before giving a slight nod, watching the ground. He knew it was hard on her too. Scarlett hated being in the tabloids, and she knew her family would be annoyed for not telling them first, though they already knew Jeremy.
Scarlett gasped soft after a sudden thought, walking to the car. "Come to my parents house with me before I go. We're getting the family together in a couple days to have a nice night together." Scarlett said softly, Jeremy smiling with a nod.
"Okay, sounds fun." Jeremy grinned. Scarlett knew he got on well with Hunter, Adrian and Christian, her brothers. He and her sister tormented each other endlessly. They always had a good time. "Will your grandma be there?" asked Jeremy with a smile, Scarlett nodding with a chuckle.
"Yeah, she will." Scarlett grinned, kissing his lips softly before climbing into the car. Jeremy laughed softly as he climbed in the car, closing the door as a shower of rain came down. "Shit!" Scarlett jumped, glancing out of the window as rain hammered down on the car and everything outside. Jeremy laughed, bending slightly.
Scarlett looked to him, shaking her head. "It's not funny!" she told him, Jeremy continuing to laugh.
"It was your face!" He laughed, attempting to recreate the look but failed miserably as he continued to laugh. Scarlett smiled a little, until she couldn't help but laugh with him.
"You're an idiot." Scarlett laughed softly, shaking her head. Jeremy had managed to calm himself down by then.
"I'm your idiot.' Jeremy smiled that adorable smile of his that always made her go weak at the knees.
"Aw.." Scarlett smiled cutely, gazing at him with loving, sparkling eyes. Jeremy grinned as he started the car and began to drive back.

Back at his house, Scarlett and Jeremy battled the rain to get back to the front door. "You couldn't have parked closer?" Scarlett asked over the hammering rain. Jeremy laughed as he watched her run to the door. Whereas he was leisurely walking along, getting soaked from head to toe. "Oh, you take the piss, Renner!" Scarlett said, wrapping her arms around herself and shivering. She too, was now soaked.
Jeremy grinned as he walked to her, wrapping his arms around her. "Baby, you know I do everything for a reason." He said softly, giving Scarlett enough time to give that adorable confused look before he pulled her closer and kissed her.
Scarlett was unable to resist and wrapped her arms around his neck, kissing him back. She let out a soft gasp when Jeremy moved to capture her lips in another kiss.
She knew Jeremy had always been a romantic, and that was one of the things she loved so much about him. He treated her like she was the only girl in his world. Scarlett smiled softly against their kiss, but broke it after a few more minutes. "Lets go inside, huh?" Scarlett whispered softly with a small smile, cupping his chin endearingly. Jeremy grinned softly.
Their afternoon was active to say the least, and it resulted in they both laying practically immobile on their bed, in each others arms. Scarlett had fallen asleep next to him, her head on his chest. Jeremy smiled softly as he traced patterns on the soft skin of her arm.
"I love you, Scar." Jeremy whispered into her hair, kissing her head. He paused when he felt her stir against him, though it was just Scarlett moving her head to get comfortable, resting her hand on his chest. Jeremy carefully pulled the blankets further up her flawless, curvaceous body when the my seemed to ride down.
It was late in the evening when Scarlett woke up. For once it was her alone in the bed. She arched her back as she began to wake, sitting up and hugging the blanket to her chest. She yawned, stretching her arms before looking around.
Downstairs, Jeremy had been arguing with the casting officials to try and push back his auditions so he could go with Scarlett. He didn't want to turn them down since they were such good movies. In the end, he made the decision to stay. He couldn't sacrifice his career when she would only be gone for a few months, then they had more time to spend with each other. Jeremy hoped she would understand.
Scarlett grumbled as she got up and pulled on Jeremy's shirt and her underwear. She walked out of their room and down the hall before walking down the stairs, looking to Jeremy to see his head in his hands. She looked a little concerned as she walked towards him. "Baby?" She asked softly, sitting next to him.
"I'm sorry, Scar." Jeremy murmured into his hands. Scarlett looked confused as she made him look a her. "I can't go." He told her.
