We Found Love

Chapter 12

Scarlett woke quite early in the morning, seeing Jeremy was still asleep. She smiled lazily, kissing his cheek as she got up, pulling on one of Jeremy's shirts before she stood up. She checked if Jeremy was still asleep before walking down the stairs and to the kitchen.
Scarlett opened the cupboards, looking for something to eat, her eyes gazing over the contents as she chewed her plump bottom lip in thought. She hummed slightly and decided on Cheerios. She made herself a bowl, and sat at the table. Scarlett however soon decided to watch TV and took her bowl to the living room. She sat on the couch and turned on the TV, her and Jeremy's relationship surprisingly made it to the news.
She sat and ate her breakfast as she listened to the things they had already made up. Such as buying a house together, and thinking of engagement. "New world record." She mumbled as she switched over.
When she finished her breakfast, Scarlett walked to the kitchen to put it in the sink, looking up to the wall clock as she made herself some coffee. 12:13pm. "Lazy ass." Scarlett smirked softly to herself, shaking her head as she took her coffee back to her living room to continue watching Third Rock from The Sun. She loved that show, even if it was some years old.
Scarlett sat on the couch, resting her legs up as she watched the programme. She rested her head on the pillow, fiddling with her hair. "You're up early." Jeremy yawned as he walked down the stairs. Scarlett looked to him with a grin, sitting up when she saw him.
"Hey, baby." Scarlett smiled softly as she saw him, Jeremy grinning as he walked towards her, planting a soft kiss on her sinful pink lips that he just wanted to steal away.
"You have to stay in bed longer so I can wake up to see your face. Its one of the privileges I get as the adoring boyfriend." Jeremy said with a boyish grin, Scarlett giggling softly as he sat next to her.
"Then stop being so fucking lazy Renner and get up when it's morning." Scarlett smiled, cuddling up to him when he wrapped his arm around her. She grinned when he kissed the top of her head.
"Ill try babe." He chuckled, kissing the top of her head. "I did well today. I got up at 11am.." He said softly.
"No.. you got up 1 minute before 12. That doesn't count." Scarlett laughed softly, it then dawned on her she had 12 days before she had to pack up to go film. She didn't quite hear what Jeremy was saying, before she climbed into his lap to straddle him. The look on Jeremy's face was priceless. "Come with me." said Scarlett. "Please." she begged.
Jeremy took a second before he managed to click on. "Scar.. you know I can't." He told her, though her pleading puppy dog eyes broke his heart. "I have auditions and I really want to work." Jeremy said softly, Scarlett wrapping her arms around him, resting her hand on his shoulder.
"I don't want to go alone." whispered Scarlett, tears in her eyes. Her emotion cracking her voice. Jeremy held her close, closing his eyes. "I want you to be there with me." She said softly. Edinburgh was a big, scary place for someone who hadn't been before.
Jeremy was so deeply inlove with her that he just couldn't say no. "Ill see what I can do, baby." He whispered into her silky hair, Scarlett looking up to him with a small smile and teary eyes, kissing his lips softly.
"I love you." Scarlett smiled, hugging him tightly. She was almost entirely dependant on him, which was unlike her. Scarlett had no idea she had him wrapped around her little finger.
As the day went on, Scarlett and Jeremy got dressed in casual attire to go out together, trying to avoid the public eye, but they didn't fully go unnoticed. It was virtually impossible. "Oh, I forgot to tell you, we were on the news." Scarlett told him, hurrying off into a store as Jeremy quickly followed.
"Woah, woah, woah. Scar.. what?" asked Jeremy. He was incredibly shocked. this was big, even for him.
"Our announcement last night made it to the news." Scarlett told him, smiling softly. "Isn't that great? We're like.. official now." She smiled softly, Jeremy draping his arm over her shoulders.
"What have they said?" He asked, knowing she was annoyed by her tone and forced smile. Jeremy knew she didn't like her life paraded around the tabloids.
"Oh, just that we're thinking of getting engaged and buying a house together." Scarlett told him. Jeremy's eyes widened as he watched her inspect a mop.
"Oh, just that? Scarlett, how are they even coming up with these stories yet?" Jeremy asked, Scarlett looking to him with confusion.
"How am I supposed to know? We were close before we got together, maybe they think we've been together longer." shrugged Scarlett as she turned to him. "We just have to show them what they're saying doesn't bother us." She said softly, smiling carefully.
