Sorry I haven't written a chapter in a while guys! I'm back at school and studying for my GCSEs next year so I don't have as much time as I thought I would! I can only try to get enough free time to write!
Jeremy swallowed hard as he showed the flight attendamt his ticket. He found his seat fine. He had took first class, like always. Though this time, it was due to he simple fact that he wanted to relax. Despite being unable to sleep on planes.
Jeremy had a long plane journey.
He could only imagine what would happen when he got off the plane. What was he going to do? Or say? Chris had knocked a lot of sense into his head, but he didn't want to see Scarlett go through it all. All the stress and the pain. He wouldnt be able to bare it.
Meanwhile, over the ocean, Scarlett was awake and ready to go to work. She knew she should probably take some time off but she felt work was the best thing she could do to take her mind off of everything. Besides, she couldn't let the media know about this pregnancy. Not if she could help it.
Scarlett paced for a while. Around her hotel room. She took a deep breath before heading towards the closet to dress in a simple shirt and shorts. Scarlett walked across the room to get her bag, packing a few necessities.
She was more than glad Jeremy was coming to her, so they could spend the beginning of the pregnancy together and they can both come to terms with it.
Because despite having the test, Scarlett still found herself staring at it in total disbelief of what this meant. She was going to be a mother. Whether she liked it or not. Scarlett knew she was ready. Within herself she knew she was perfect for motherhood. But was Jeremy ready to be a father?
It was only a matter of hours before she could ask him that one question that bothered her so much. How could she cope with knowing he wasn't at all ready to father a child? If that was the case, she'd have to go it alone. Despite how much she loved Jeremy.
The sudden ring of her phone snapped her out of her dreams. It was Joss. Scarlett answered, putting it on the speaker phone option so she could retrieve her shoes. "Hey Joss. How are you?" She asked softly as she pulled on her sneakers.
"Good, Scar, thank you. How are you?" His phone voice was almost unrecognisable. Yet there was just a 'Joss' vibe to it.
"Well, I'm good." She chuckled, Joss giving a slight laugh of his own.
"Are you good to come to set? We've godda discuss a few things." He said softly.
"Yeah, I'm just getting ready. I'll catch a cab and I'll see you there." Scarlett said softly, hanging up when they finished the conversation.
Meanwhile, Jeremy was sat restless on the plane, staring out of the window as various thoughts raced through his mind. He was determined to be there every step through the pregnancy, with every little bump in the road he wanted to be the solution. He had no idea just what he was in for.
Sorry guys! It's extremely short but I just can't wait to write the next chapter! I'm sorry for abandoning this story for as long as I have :,( I'm determined to write whenever I can :)
