Bella ran down to front of the cafe sensing a strong presence and at once she remembered Clary who she had left stranded out back and turned on her heel weaving back through the cafe, watch the Yemen Demon spear Clary in the shoulder sending her to floor, Bella threw a blade straight through the demon making it spray inchor and blood over Clary who was still crumpled on the ground and unconscious. Bella cursed as it turned its attention towards her ignoring its prey. Mundanes were running in all directions trying to run away from the conflict, The con clave was probably on their way and Clary was dying from the poison and inchor. She was running out of time.
Yemen demon died soon after Bella put her mind to it after stabbing through the heart and watching it fold and disappear. She scooped up Clary and took her to the institute via magic ring.
Whispered the words and the door swung open, walking up to the lift she saw church and he lead her to the infirmary, making sure it was empty. she placed Clary on a bed and began work to clean her but she didn't get far before she was outed by the cat who had brought Jace with him.
"Dammit Church" She said
"Don't tell church off its not his fault you are going to get your neck wrung by Magnus " Jace replied
"Whose is th-" Jace started and immediately stopped up short when he recognising Clary
"Stupid cat I sent you to get Isabelle the only one around who won't collapsed " Bella told him off
"Let me get this straight, Clary is dying its either I brought her here or took her home, personally it was easier to come here" Bella continued
Jace went pale and sat on the other bed, some how she looked familiar but he couldn't put his finger on it and it was a deep memory
"Damit we are losing her, I can't keep going forever Jace we need Laila its beyond my speciality and Magnus won't be able to refuse the chance to turn me into a tea cosy again" Bella shouted frustration
"Brilliant Valentine going to rise a great demon from the War mark book, Clary dying and now I've got an emotional twat who can't do anything helpful, Jace my week isn't going smoothly" Bella shouted
"Well your the one who took Laila!" Jace shouted back
"I know but I can't refuse him at all" Bella replied quietly
"You said an demon rising right?" Jace questioned
"Yeah so?" Bella shrugged placing new herbs on Clary's head
"Where?" Jace fired back
"Dragons cave, you should know it" Bella replied
"Yes I know it, Idris firedowns, when" Jace told her immediately
"unfortunately its tonight" Bella said glumly trying to draw an itraze on Clary but it wasn't working
"Right we are to late, we need to get there pronto" Jace said losing hope
"No we aren't but we will need help and portal won't work there as you know since Valentine shielded so you could play there when you were little" Bella replied smugly making Jace wonder how she knew that, Only him and Sebastian knew that.
"I know who exactly to ask but I would ask you to wear that necklace but I know you won't be going anywhere without it so there is no point" Bella laughed still applying pressure to Clary's wound
"You know when I am strong again i am going to wring your neck myself?" Jace replied cockly
"Nah you won't herondale !" Bella replied cheekly
