Bella had felt fear before but she had learnt that Jonathan didn't lie very often and this time his face was deadly serious and she could see the forces converging on her up until Jace stepped out and completely disposed of the threat and Jonathan mock clapped.
"Nicely done, Daddy would be proud, gold star" Jonathan taunted
"Bit out of your depth though coming alone to stop me from taking my sister to the watchtower"
"Jonathan, You need to draw up a new map and plan out an better attack I have heard that Mundane Song and it doesn't end well so that's why I brought a few friends" Jace threatened and on cue Alec and Izzy stepped out both flashing weapons and Jonathan smiled
"If you must Know Clary's dieing from that demon your father sent after Bella" Jace added and Jonathan went pale and disappeared quickly as Alec lunged towards him.
"Wait what Song is that?" Izzy asked
"Forget the song,where did Alec come from?" Bella asked them and then it all dawned on them and they turned slowly
"You didn't free him?" Izzy said quietly and Bella shook her head and Izzy paled and Jace became rigid as they faced the imposter. Reading his idea like a book Bella ran up the wall and fell in an neat arc blocking his path out there Alley between two buildings.
"That is how my father knew I would be here, hello Harry how much is he paying you for this deed?" Bella asked leaning against the wall casually playing with the blade.
"Not enough, Valentine isn't in the picture anymore" The boy answered
"Wait my brother is doing all the planning, hope you have the fire brigade on stand by" Bella answered making Jace smirk however Izzy was pissed
"Before you make a mistake, can I suggest something" Harry asked but before anyone could answer Bella corrected him.
"Not suggest tell, spill what was he getting at with throwing me off the Demon towers and Um you have 2 minutes before Isabelle Lightwood kills you twice over and throws you out a window as well, so go" Bella informed him still twirling the blade and he flinched and Isabelle looked at Jace who shrugged.
"He knows that if you succeed in uniting the Nephilim together, Valentines Army will be dust and He didn't know about Clary until Jace mentioned her and I was sent to retrieve information hoping you wouldn't show up and when you jumped off the balcony I knew I would be found out and when Jonathan told me to rondayvo in this alley, I thought I would have the spell lifted but he was clever he has hostages" Harry said pouring out information
"Wait, spell?" Jace interjected
"Unfortunately my brother has tied two life lines together Alec and Harry's without proper separation they will both die and he also didn't tell you that you were going to die anyway" Bella told him not bothering to tell him gently
"Cough up the Ring Harry" Bella told him with her arm outstretched waiting for him to place it in her palm which he did and took a step back.
"Damn, times up" Bella admitted
"Not your Harry, you are needed to soothe Maryse and I will ensure your safety" Bella told them as footsteps came running down the alley.
Bella jumped betweens the walls and pulled herself up onto a balcony and continued climbing until she hitched herself up on to roof and vanished out of sight. Making Izzy whistle and Jace sighed.
"Have you seen Bella?" Jem asked out of breathe from all the running.
"I saw her jump off the balcony and then she ran off and Maryse said she was with you and that Max was missing"
"We had seen Bella she has just started the second leg of let's go get myself killed" Izzy answered worriedly looking at Harry giving him raised eyebrows
"Any ideas where she going?" Jem questioned them and Izzy shook her head as did Harry but Jace knew"
"Demons towers" He said said suddenly realising her plan
"What?" Jem spluttered
"She's going to jump....for Alec and Max" He said his eyes flashing bright sprinting off around the corner before Jem could say anything. Jem then sprinted off leaving Isabelle and Harry who roughly dragged him against the wall.
"What do they mean she's going to jump for Max?" Izzy interrogated
"She going to trade her own life for his" He answered and Izzy left him in the dust.
