Estelle
"Can you channel your Oura konnes?" Nigel asks.
I shake my head.
Training is harder now, partly because I don't know how to use my Oura konnes, and I have to break eight bottles with pebbles by the end of the day, which sit tauntingly at the end of the fire station hall.
I try glaring at them, willing them to move with my mind. "Nothing's working, Nigel."
"You just have to try." He says, patting my back.
I cross my arms. "I've only done one thing, and it wasn't even that cool."
He purses his lips, deep in thought. "I'll get Annaliessee."
I watch as he walks away, scratching the stubble that had accumulated on his jaw.
I stand in silence, counting dust floating in the air, waiting for her arrival.
And when she does arrive, she makes her presence known, letting the doors open loudly, and close equally as loud.
"What's the problem?" She asks.
I shrug. "It's not working."
"Well, why not?" She asks, making her way to me.
"I dunno, I'm not an expert." I say, looking at her.
"Well what did it say?" She asks.
"It?" I ask.
"Yeah, y'know the spiritual galaxy place?" She asks.
I shake my head, confused.
"Oh, that's why." Annaliessee says.
Annaliessee studied Oura konnes with Titanios for a month back when South-side wasn't rubble.
"What's why?" I ask, scrunching up my nose.
"When you unlock your Oura konnes you're supposed to go into a spiritual place, where it determines how strong yours is." She explains. "It shows you your fears, some you didn't even know you had. It basically puts your Oura konnes straight, I'm guessing the reason yours didn't unlock was because your first move was so violent, it just couldn't happen."
"How long will it take?" I ask.
"To you it'll feel like hours, but it'll only be a few seconds." She says. "Close your eyes, clear your mind, and just let it happen."
I squeeze my eyes shut, willing any thought out of my head. I was gone in a minute.

I kneel in something wet. I open my eyes, seeing a galaxy surrounding me, yet somehow, it was like kneeling in a stream.
"Stand." A voice echoes through the empty void.
I obey.
"I will put you through five rounds." He says. "Just try to make it."
Then the galaxy turns into Pangaea, well, the dungeon of the castle.
I was in a tiny cell, which was only getting smaller and smaller. My hands, tied behind my back, wouldn't be much help, yet the chair would.
I stand, hooking my foot onto one of the legs of the chair and pulling.
The chair wedges in between the stone walls, stopping them.
I scoot between the bars of the prison which wasn't that hard, especially since there's no guards.
I turn to walk down the hallway and the scenery changes, and I'm dropped hopelessly in the ocean, hands miraculously untied.
I tread the water, managing to stay afloat.
I thank Luca quietly for the private lessons.
Suddenly there's sharks circling below me, all hungry.
Four of them, which means I'm screwed.
The first jumps at me, and I slip underwater, watching as two sharks attack eachother.
The remaining two sharks focus on me though, and I immediately start swimming.
My brain flashes to the Shark Week programs on the Animal Channel. 'In the case you're being attacked by sharks, punch their snout because it's their weakest spot.'
I surface for a breath before going back under.
The braver shark juts forward, nipping. I swing my fist, hitting it's nose. It turns and swims away.
The last shark was small and quick, making the effort of hitting its nose like a really tough game of Whack-A-Mole.
It takes a final aim for my throat, but I kick it upwards, and it leaves the water.
The scene changes again, this time a meadow.
August stood there, a tourniquet around his knee and four holes in his shirt.
I almost run at him before I realize that August's eyes are chocolaty brown.
This imposters eyes are icy blue.
"E." He reaches out to touch my face.
I step back. "Don't touch me."
"What are you talking about?" He limps forward.
I step back. "You're not August."
"You're insane, princess, come here." He says.
"I'm not a princess." I say, crossing my arms. "I'm especially not your princess."
"Who have you become?" He asks. "You used to be wrapped around my pinky, when did you get so independent?"
"The second you died, asshole." I snarl.
"Well, sorry your foolish mistakes killed me." He mirrors my stance.
"I didn't mean for it to happen." I say. "I'm sorry."
"Well, it did happen, and it was all your fault." He sneers. "And now you can't even follow my orders."
"You're not my boss." I reply.
He scoffs. "Well if I was, you would be fired."
"Why are you being so rude?" I ask, trying to reason with this imposter.
"Because you're an awful girlfriend and an awful person." He says.
"I was your girlfriend, I'm not anymore." I say. "We were over the second you took your last breath." I turn and walk away, transporting into another scene.
September was standing in front of me, his arms stretched wide.
Behind him was where Leeciy lay, Cirus pressing her small hands on a gushing wound on his side.
I was pointing a gun at September for some unknown reason.
"Estelle please, I can't let you hurt them." He says.
He looked older, his curly hair longer, and his eyes more alert.
"Estelle, you can fight it, please." His eyes shown with betrayal. "Mom, please."
Mom?
My arms were hard to lower, they were like concrete, but once I lower them, September grins.
"I'm losing him." Cirus says.
My eyes widen as I push past September.
The scene changes into darkness. Luca was there, a wolf on top of him, trying to nip at his neck.
He was fight for his life, shoving and punching.
I try to stand, only for a force to shove me back down.
"Let me go!" I scream at the air, kicking my legs.
Now, it was clear Luca was losing, and once he realized it, he stopped fighting and let the wolf tear out his throat.
The scene changes, a glass tank in front of me.
"I thought there was only five!" I yell at the air.
The voice returns. "Nobody really makes it past five."
