Leeciy
Hetij was curled up on my chest while Estelle rests her head on my bicep. They're both asleep, occasionally murmuring something or snoring.
Though everyone's asleep, I'm still awake, thinking about everything.
"How's your daughter?" Mareena asks.
"What?"
Raheel looks my way.
"I can tell by the way you're holding Hetij, you're good with kids. Also, you're really careful and calm with the twins, so I just assumed it was a daughter." Mareena answers.
"Well, I guess you could say she's my daughter." I say.
She speaks again. "Is it yours and your girlfriend's?"
"I don't have a girlfriend." I answer. "Just mine."
"Who's the girl with you then?" Mareena asks. "You two seem pretty touchy."
"Estelle and I are just friends." I say.
At the mention of her name, Estelle perks up, even subconsciously on high-alert. "Hmm?"
"Oh, hi." I whisper, taking my hand of of Hetij's back to stroke her arm softly.
"What are you doing?" She murmurs softly, sitting up.
"Mareena and I were playing 20 questions." I say softly.
She hums, leaning her head on my shoulder. "Can I play?"
"Sure." I say.
Raheel sits at my feet.
Estelle curls her legs in more.
"Question One:" Estelle yawns. "What's your middle name?"
"Deiga." Mareena answers.
"Asdar." I murmur. "Are you sure you don't want to go back to sleep?"
Estelle meets my eyes. "Are you sleepy?"
"Not in the slightest." I say.
She reaches over and pushes my hair from my face. "I'm not sleepy either."
"Sure." I say, my voice dripping with sarcasm.
"Is it my question?" Mareena asks.
"Go ahead." Estelle says.
Mareena pauses. "Who hurt you most in your life?"
Estelle and I wait a few moments before she speaks up.
"On second thought, I'm exhausted." She murmurs. "Traveling day tomorrow, anyway, G'night."

First thing requested when we pulled into Willowdale was for Roselette to see Annaliesee.
So Estelle and I grabbed the twins amd headed on our way, Roselette trailing behind us.
"Baba." Hetij says, pointing at me.
"Baba?" Estelle asks, eyebrows raised.
Roselette laughs. "Papa is with Mareena, don't worry."
"Baba." Eura repeats, which causes both of the twins to go into a baba frenzy.
Roselette quiets them with a wave of her hand.
"Are you and Pyol married?" Estelle asks.
"We're close friends, we adopted Eura and Hetij when their biological parents died." She answered.
Estelle pushes open the hospital door with her back, holding it open for us.
"Thank you." Roselette says, walking through.
I walk through, nodding at Estelle.
"Take Eura." Estelle says to Roselette. "I don't want to scare her."
Roselette grabs her child, nodding softly at Estelle.
Estelle, Hetij and I walk into Annaliesee's room.
It smells like vanilla, which is odd.
Annaliesee's sits on a wheeled chair infront of a mannequin, fixing up some pants by sewing patches into the knees and such.
"Hey." Estelle says.
Annaliesee barely looks our way. "Oh, you're back. I'm busy right now, September brought me a bunch if your clothes for spiffy-ing." Annaliesee pauses, rolling around to the other side of the mannequin. "You can come back later to model for me."
"Baba!" Hetij yells, his arm whacking my chest.
Annaliesee finally looks our way. "Did you get another one?"
Hetij giggles. "Voja!"
"No." Annaliesee says. "I'm not your Voja." She rolls over to us.
Hetij whacks my chest again. "Voja!"
"Let Annaliesee hold Hetij." Estelle says.
I set Hetij in her lap, who then giggles wildly.
"Where'd you get him?" She asks.
Estelle speaks. "He's not ours."
"Who's is it?" Annaliesee raises a brow.
I walk over to the creaky hospital door, pushing it open.
Annaliesee gasps. "Roselette?"
"Voja!" Hetij squeals.
"Hey Annaliesee." Roselette says, waving awkwardly.
Annaliesee stands, holding Hetij on her hip. "Is this happening?"
Estelle walks over and gently pulls Hetij from her grasp. "Yes, this is happening."
Annaliesee runs over and throws her arms around her twin. "I missed you."
"I thought you were dead." Roselette sighs, holding her tightly with one arm.
Logan clears her throat from behind Roselette. "Annaliesee, time for your medication."
Annaliesee pulls back in a panic. "I'm sorry, please don't tell Erich."
"I would never." Logan says, smiling. "Here, just take your meds."
Annaliesee grabs the medicine cup and downs the liquid.
"I should probably go." I say. "This seems kind of personal."
"I'll walk you home." Logan offers.
Estelle quickly hugs me. "I'll see you around."
"Bye." I grin.
***
"So, how was Chicago?" Logan asks. "Tell me everything."
"Well, we got a hotel room, then we got burgers, and then Estelle jumped off a bridge, and then we found the Pangaeans, and everything was okay."
"Wait, she jumped off a bridge?" Logan asks. "Why?"
"We were surrounded by police officers and it was the only escape." I answer.
"Wasn't it cold?" She asks.
I nod. "It was freezing."
"Oh." She says, crossing her arms. "Are you cold?" I ask, already taking off my jacket.
She rolls her eyes. "Leeciy, I'm fine."
I place my jacket on her shoulders. "Y'know, Pangaeans are kind of attuned to the cold, since it's like freezing below."
"Well doesn't mean you have to revive chivalry." Logan says.
"I'm not even trying to be chivalrous. I'm just being nice." I say.
Logan blows a blue hair from her face. "Whatever."
"Anyway, what happened here while I was gone?" I ask.
"Ned and Melissa went to the city to deliver their baby." Logan says. "I think they had an emergeny C-section."
"Why?"
She shrugs. "The baby's name is Ellis August Jordans, and he's got brilliantly red hair like Ned's."
"That's fortunate." I say. "Are they back yet?"
"No, they're actually still at the hospital something about Melissa." Logan shrugs. "They'll be fine."
"Anyway, this is me." I say, stopping at my door.
"So it is." She says. "I'll see you around."
"Yeah, see ya." I say, walking in.
Inside was two portions of some type of food, lit only by candles, with Gabrie standing in front of it, wearing a dress that's more lingerie than a dress.
"Welcome home, babe." She smirks.
Oh brother.
