Estelle
Six people get out of the car. The first out was a giant, who must've been on steroids since he was three, the next was a younger girl with white-blonde hair., after her was Yeeva, and after Yeeva was a tall guy with no hair, after him was a tall blonde guy, and finally was Maverick.
They were all armed, but not too heavily.
"Their cars are here, but where the hell are they?" Yeeva asks, kicking the dirt with her brown-leather work boots.
Maverick shrugs. "They're here, I can feel it."
"Well, where are they!?" Yeeva yells at her.
The huge soldier was scanning around, we lock eyes, before I move further behind the bush.
"They're hiding in the trees, I saw one." He says.
An arrow flies from the trees, lodging itself in the stomach of the smaller girl.
"Ceder!" The blonde boy yells in surprise.
Ceder cocks her head and pulls the arrow out, examining it.
She falls to her knees, red blood staining her clothes.
It didn't take long for her to face-plant into the dirt, her movements stilled.
The blonde boy falls to his knees and shakes her. "Ceder?"
"She's dead, John, get up." The bald guy says.
John glares at him before standing up.
I look up at Leeciy who was also watching.
"Tear apart the trees kill every last one of them." The giant says.
Maverick nods, walking in the direction Annaliesee and Logan were.
"Logan and Annaliesee are over that way." I whisper to Leeciy.
He nods. "I'm going over there, stay hidden."
I watch as he sneaks away, before going back to watching the scene in front of me.
The giant was walking my way, but slowly, making sure not to make too much noise.
John was headed toward Luca, and Yeeva was headed toward Gabrie and Wrenton.
The bald guy was watching everyone, calculating their movements.
The giant enters the shelter-belt, walking in a straight line.
I stand up and face him.
He was a rugged handsome, with scruff on his face, and long hair that was pulled back into a man bun.
He looks down on me, studying me, before he whips out his gun and trains it on the center of my nose.
I grab my ax from its sheath on my back, swinging it.
It makes a home right above his hipbone.
He fires the shotgun, but misses.
I stomp my foot and nail him right in his handsome face with a ball of gravel and rock.
He grabs his gun by the barrel of the gun, swinging it.
It hits me in the cheekbone, which I shake off quickly.
I train my Oura konnes on a fairly large rock nearby, before throwing it toward him. It nails him in the shoulder and he stumbles backward.
I grab my ax from his side, and his wound starts oozing blood. I swing again, tearing his tight shirt, but missing him.
He tosses his shotgun and grabs it, firing at me again.
The bullet barely misses, cutting my shirt.
I leap forward, swinging again, hitting him in the neck.
The wound starts squirting a steady streak of blood, coating my face before I step back.
He shoots again, hitting a tree behind me.
He was out of bullets, and all he could do was chuck the shotgun at me, which I catch.
The giant goes down on his knees, holding the wound on his neck. He falls back ward, and freezes.
I check his body for anything useful, but all I found was a protein bar, and that his shirt's tag was labeled with the name, Mark.
I shove maybe-Mark behind the bush and I wipe my face on my shirt, spreading a streak of red across it.
I look out again to see that Annaliesee and Logan had left the shelter belt and were battling Maverick, and failing.
Luca and Leeciy were finishing off John.
Gabrie was looking at Yeeva, talking quickly, seemingly begging.
Wrenton was laying in a pool of black blood, unmoving.
I wince, then look for Nigel.
He was hiding pretty close to me, his face covered with mud, and he was buried in leaves.
I wave and he waves back, grinning, his white teeth a stark contrast against the brown of the mud.
I hear a yell and look out.
The bald guy was next to the car holding September by the throat, Spetember's gun pressed to his own temple.
The pulls me out of the safety in hiding and I run toward him.
The bald guy smiles evilly taking his hands off September and aiming at me.
I stomp and create another ball of rock, and whip it at him.
It hits the bald guy in the face, which knocks him over.
September grabs his gun that was tossed on the floor in shock.
The bald guy gets up, his nose misshaped and broken.
September shoots him and he falls again, still.
I look over at September then at the car.
"They're okay."
I nod.
"Hey Red!" Yeeva yells from behind me.
I turn and look at her.
"Remember me?"
"Hard to forget." I sneer, tapping my foot on the ground already getting rock ready.
She pulls a throwing knife out of her back pocket, throwing it at me.
I pull away, but I was too late.
The knife ripped a gorey smile into my side, which was already bleeding.
"Mom!" September yells, running toward me.
"That was for Michoon." She laughs. "Remember him?"
I cough, blood coming to my lips.
September loads his gun, aiming it at Yeeva.
I fall backward, onto my back, pressing on the wound.
She laughs, "You're finally dying! This is my dream."
I stomp my foot and send a rock toward her that misses her. The moving of my foot makes the blood pump harder, sending more from my fatal wound. I look at the sky and see a misshapen jet, which was basically a helicopter that went really fast.
She looks up too. "Shit."
I look over at Yeeva and watch her run off.
The sight brings a smile to my lips.
"Stay awake." September says, but it was muffled for some reason. "Leeciy!"
I hear footsteps before I'm lifted off the ground.
I look into the concerned eyes of Leeciy, who's talking but I can't hear him. All I can hear is a high-pitched ringing in the back of my ears.
"Stay awake!" He yells, which gets through the wall of ringing.
My eyes open all the way, looking up at the inside of the jet.
Leeciy wasn't holding me anymore but I was on a stretcher, three woman above me, wheeling me away.
I look behind me, by looking up, and she everyone watching me, and September fighting to follow me.
That's the last thing I see before my eyes shut, and I'm put out by the fluid the nurses put in my arm.
