Estelle
The familiar, leathery suit clings to my body, well, after being tightened. Apparently, I lost weight, must to Annaliesee's dismay.
Ned sets up the camera while Leeciy hacks into the best WiFi he can get on his old laptop.
Cirus and September are there for "moral support," which basically means they get to sit around and see the behind the scenes.
"Okay, I think first we should get one of those shots where you're fiddling with the camera, then we'll start." Ned says, finishing up setting it up.
I nod, looking over at Leeciy. "Are you ready."
He presses a few more keys before nodding.
I walk up to the camera and Ned hits record, but I move it around a bit, before stepping back.
"Hey." I say softly. "I'm not dead, isn't that kinda funny?"
September smiles proudly at me.
"Your president's lying to you, she has every single one of you under her sick spell." I inform. "She's killed so many innocent people to get to me, and every single one of them was an American, despite if they were legal or not. She killed all the Pangaeans she could get her hands on, which was around 200, We're only 14 now, but I can assure you, we're definitely going to take Alyxa Finn down, and we might take this country down too. Choose your side, because this is war." I end it by sending a rock toward the camera, but I stop it with my Oura konnes before it could do any real damage.
Ned shuts off the camera and hands Leeciy the SD card.
Cirus claps. "I love being a rebellion!"
September pats her head. "So do I."
I smile softly, stepping out of the room, wanting to change back into regular clothes.
My room was about four rooms from Ned's so it wasn't too far.
I open the door and Logan and Annaliesee were sitting on my bed, obviously waiting for me.
I yelp when I walk in, not expecting them.
Logan holds up her hand, trying to calm me.
I close my eyes and lean against the shut door. "You scared me."
"Sorry." Annaliesee says.
"Why are you guys here anyway?" I ask.
"Leeciy." They say.
I look over with furrowed brows. "Why wouldn't you be with Leeciy then?"
"He climbed into my window, in search of you." Annaliesee says. "That's not very normal."
"He just wanted to see how I was doing." I shrug, walking over to my bag, fishing out some clothes.
"Then he stayed the night." Logan says.
I turn and look at them. "No he didn't."
"Yes he did." Annaliesee says. "I went into your room and you were cuddling."
"Well, he spent the night, it's not like it's the first time we've slept in the same bed." I say, shrugging.
"It was cute." Annaliesee adds, smiling. "You looked at peace."
"We were sleeping." I say. "It's not like it's a big deal."
"Okay, since you're denying everything, why don't we just ask true/false questions?" Logan asks, standing from the corner of my bed.
"I wanna change."
"Well, change, then we're getting started." Annaliesee says.
I walk into the bathroom.
"Oh and, don't climb out the window!"

I walk out hesitantly, but I know I'd have to face their wraith either way.
They were chatting quietly but they shut up once I walked out.
"Okay, so we'll ask yes or no, and you answer honestly."
I sit opposite of them on the squeaky chair at the worn desk. "Alright."
"Let's start with something easy." Logan says, pointedly looking at Annaliesee before talking. "True or false, your name is Estelle."
"True."
"True or false, you are the caretaker of September Kahler." Annaliesee says.
"True." I say.
"Alright." Logan says. "Now let's get into the juicy parts."
"True or false, you still love August." Annaliesee interrupts.
"False." I say. "Why does everyone ask me that?"
Logan shrugs before continuing. "True or false, you and Leeciy stayed up late talking, just talking."
"False." I answer.
"What else did you do?" Annaliesee asks, hopping up excitedly.
"That's not true or false." I shrug, giving her a smug look.
"True or false, you and Leeciy kissed." Annaliesee asks, jumping up and down.
I smile softly. "True."
My ears were filled with squeals when Annaliesee and Logan jumped together.

It's late at night, but I couldn't sleep, not at all.
I tried everything, focusing on my breathing, focusing on September's breathing, counting ceiling tiles, even lying really still, trying to force myself to sleep.
I pick up my phone, which was charged, thankfully, but shattered, but that wasn't too big of a deal.
I pull up Leeciy's contact before typing a simple text.
'U up?'
The three dots pop up and he answers. 'Yup'
'What are you up to'
'Editing, what about you'
'Can't sleep, tried everything'
The three bubbles come up but then disappear.
I turn off my phone, huff, and roll over.
Just then, the stupid thing starts vibrating.
I flip back over and see Leeciy's sending me a video-chatting request.
I accept it.
"I'd come over, bu I'd probably wake up September." Leeciy whispers, smiling softly.
I smile softly before speaking just as softly. "It's kinda dark in here, can you see me?"
"I can see your face and the a little bit of your hair." He informs quietly.
"I can see all of you." I whisper.
He nods. "That's because my computer is on, and it's kind of an illuminating thing."
"How's editing?" I ask softly.
He smiles. "It's going good, it looks really cool."
"That's good." I whisper.
He looks back down at the phone. "How's sleeping?"
"It's going swimmingly as you can see." I say, with quiet sarcasm.
He laughs covering up the mic so that he doesn't wake September.
"Is Cirus asleep?"
He nods. "She's fast asleep, she's in the whole REM stage, so she's probably in someone's head."
"Whose do you think?"
He looks over at her, before looking back at the phone. "Probably Luca's trying to get him to believe in aliens."
I chuckle softly.
"I have an idea." He says quietly.
"Huh?" I ask, softly.
"Close your eyes." He orders.
"No, I wanna look at you." I pout.
"Just do it." He chuckles
I lay back and my eye's flutter close.
Leeciy starts talking to me softly about his editing process, before quickly switching to his favorite animal, and describing why, and sometime between the topic of candy and candle scent, I fall asleep.
