Luca
"Mom?!" I run towards our little house, not really caring about the pain in my arm. "Mom!" I bang through the screen door.
Despite the blood, the only thing I could see was my mother and Felicity laying lifeless on the ground.
"Mom?" I fall to my knees next to her. "Wake up."
She doesn't budge.
I roll her over, wincing at the sight of a bullet hole through her forehead. "No."
I crawl to Felicity, rolling her over too.
She was beaten and bruised, but dead all the same.
I crawl back to my mom and grab her cold hand. "Mom, please don't leave me."
Her staring lifeless eyes gave no answer.
I reach up and shakily close her eyes, before collapsing onto her stomach, sobs taking control of my body.
"Luca." Logan says from behind me. "I'm so sorry." She had obviously been crying.
I stand, trying to stop crying but it only worsened. "How bad is it?"
"There's like fourteen of us left." She says. "My mom and Jackson are both dead."
"My mom and Felicity are both dead." I inform.
She nods. "We're leaving."
"I thought so."
"Pack everything you need, they stole our helicopter so we can't bring too much." Logan says.
I nod. "Okay."
"Luca." She says. "I'm really sorry for your loss."
"I'm sorry for your loss, too." I say.
She walks forward, pulling me into a tight hug. "It really sucks to lose family, especially when they're the only family you have, but don't let this cripple you, we still need you."
I nod. "I won't, I promise."
Estelle
I grab the familiar grey luggage from the closet, and open it.
The luggage itself was pretty dang big, so I was pretty confident in fitting all the essentials in, but no size suitcase could fit the memories at Willowdale. Including the dance where Cirus taught me the worm dance, and the many hours that Leeciy and I sat in the dusty old English classroom to try and plan attacks.
Ellis's first home, and everyone's favorite place.
I grab a sweatshirt and toss it haphazardly in my suitcase, before grabbing five pairs of jeans and dropping those in, too.
"Hey." September says. "Don't pack too much."
I nod. "I know, just reminiscing."
"It sucks." He says, plopping on the bed. "We don't have anywhere to go."
"We'll figure it out." I say, grabbing some shirts, tossing them in.
"Are we just gonna live on the road?" He asks. "Because there's only like nine of us."
I shrug. "Probably."
He grabs the duvet off the bed, folding it. "We should pack blankets."
I toss him August's old luggage. "Put some stuff in there."
"Alright." He starts packing silently.
I walk to the bathroom to grab our toothbrushes and my makeup, shoving the products in a sandwich bag that we kept stored under the sink.
"Estelle?" September calls down the hall. "We're pretty much done."
I walk out of the bathroom. "Alright, let's get out of here."

I open the door to the bunker I hid in, and look at everything.
The sight makes me gag, because so many people that knew me, died.
"Roselaine?" I ask, walking towards the small house they'd claimed. "Roselaine?"
Eerie silence follows in my wake.
I bang on the door, calling her name every once in a while.
The doorknob turns, and Eura appears.
"Eura!" I bend down and pick her up. "Where's your mom?"
She raises a finger towards the living area.
I rush though the house, stopping short when I see the bloody footprints.
"Go." Eura mumbles.
I walk into the room and gasp at the sight of my sister, who was brutally mutilated in the middle of the living-room, along with Hetij, who had a gaping gunshot wound to his head.
"Mommy?" Eura asks, frowning when Roselaine doesn't move.
I turn around and run out of the house, not wanting to see the gruesome scene again.

Estelle was standing outside my house, her arms folded.
"What are you doing here?" I ask.
She snaps out of a trance. "You're alive!"
"Thanks." I say. "Almost everyone is dead."
"Yeah." She nods. "I'm glad you two are alive."
Eura squeals when Estelle pokes her belly.
"Who survived?" I ask.
"You, Eura, Wrenton, Gabrie, Mareena, Titanios, Luca, Logan, Leeciy, Ned, Ellis, September, and Cirus is all we know. Anybody that you know?" She gestures to Eura.
I look down at Eura, who was clinging onto my shirt. "No, just Eura and I."
"Oh." She says. "I'm sorry."
I hold back the tears.
"I'm supposed to tell you that we're leaving, so you should pack everything you need."
I nod. "Alright, we'll do that."

I sit on the hood of the car, the smell of gas prominent in the air.
"I feel like we should do a eulogy." September says. "Y'know, since everyone there is dead."
I nod. "Okay, who wants to start?"
Logan raises her hand. "I'll always miss my mom, because she was always there for me, even when I was going through my edgy rebellious phase."
"I'll miss my mom too, even though I hadn't ever been with her for long, she's still my mom." Luca says.
"I'll miss my sister, which was also my best friend, she'll always have a special place in my heart."
"To all my closest friends, because I wasn't able to save them, and now they're gone." Wrenton says.
Everybody's silent after that, silently agreeing with Wrenton.
"We should go now." Nigel says. "I don't want to be here anymore."
Everyone loads into their designated cars, except Leeciy, Cirus, September, and I.
We watch as the cars leave one by one, all headed to the same place.
"I'm gonna miss it here." I say, leaning onto Leeciy.
He wraps an arm around me. "I hate to see it go."
September smiles. "Cirus and I will wait in the car."
They both get in the back seat.
"Would it be cheesy to do one last eulogy?" Leeciy asks.
"Not at all."
He takes the book of matches out of his back pocket, walking towards the gas trail. "Goodbye to everyone that built a life here, with friends and family, and I am truly sorry that this happened to you, I'm sorry." And with that, he drops a match on the gas trail, and sets Willowdale ablaze.
