A hero is not braver that any ordinary man, but he is brave five minutes longer.

"Ms. Baek, Ms. Martin is here to see you." The intercom blazed as you were looking at your computer.

You furrowed your brows, it's not a busy moment at the office but it's still weird that Jiwon is here.

"Please tell her to come in." You said.

"Hi Eonnie..." Jiwon said.

"Why are you here?" You said smiling.

... and then Jin came in.

"... and you." You said as you got back to your computer.

"We want to talk to Jessie Eonnie but I need to buy some medicines for Taehyung first. Jin oppa said maybe he could stay with you." She said.

"Taehyung's sick?" You asked.

"He has a fever." Jiwon said as she waved at you and got out of your office. "I'll be back later."

"More like he has blue balls for days." Jin said.

You scoff at his remarks. "Just go to Jessie's office if you want to talk to her."

"I wanna talk to you, too." He said.

"Did you bring a black bag with you to kidnap me again?" You said.

"No, just my handsome face to mesmerize you to talking to me." He said.

When you looked at him, his ears are red. He's not really that proud of his face. This was all an act for him.

"Sorry about last week." He said.

"It's fine. I'm sure there's a lot of girls who wants to be in my shoes that day." You said as you continuously search something.

"Jaehee, we're really sorry." Jin said.

You looked at him, he was just looking at his hands, fidgeting.

"I'm really fine." You said. "You can go to Ms. Nam's office now."

Jin let out a sigh. "I can't go there yet. That's another thing I wanted to talk to you about. Did Jessie said anything to you?"

"Our relationship is purely business and I intend to keep it that way."

"Bullshit. You're worried about her."

You stopped your typing. "She's not supposed to come back. I don't think she's fine. She seems— snarky today. She fired someone already. But no, she didn't say anything."
