Him

Namjoon just told me what Plan G in Operation Fool Jimin long live Jungkook was, years after we initially planned it.

"Hahahahaha, you're very funny. You're kidding, right?" I said nervously.

"Of course." Namjoon said as he faced the altar.

"You're scary sometimes, you know?" Jin said.

"I'm kidding, Hyung." Namjoon said.

"So what's Plan G?" He asked again.

"I just told you." He said.

After a while Namjoon looked back and nudge me. "Have you talked to Jaehee?"

"Should I?" I scoffed.

"I know you love her. I knew even before you knew."

"That's great, sweet cakes but next time try to intervene before it crashed and burned to the ground."

"You know, the problem with you is that you're too careful to the extent that you're wrecking everything with your carefulness. Try to become spontaneous at least once. Be like Taehyung, remember the time when he almost went out of the dorm in his boxers to rewrite his destiny."

"Stop it Namjoon. I swear to— I wanna talk to her but I don't know where to start, I don't even know where she is."

"She's right behind you." He said chuckling.

A cold splash of water seems to washed over me. It's her image that's been inside my mind for a year. Time hasn't made me forget. My heartbeat raced just knowing that's she's behind me.

"Is Ken with her?" I asked.

"Yeah. With their kid I assumed." Namjoon said.

My grip on the pews became harder. I never thought this would hurt me still. I was hoping even in a small percentage, that I'm not too late when I got back but it seems I am. I banged my fist on the pews causing somes eyes to shift on us.

"Just fucking with you. She's alone."

If I'm not in a church right now. I would repeatedly bang Namjoon's head against the pews. Drag his body out and throw him in a train railroad, watch his body turn into a ghastly mess and feed him to dogs.

I finally turned around and saw her. She was still the same Jaehee as I left, the same stance, the same expression, the same person who guided me to the conference room pretending not to laugh at my jokes but deep inside she likes it.

My chest feels clamp down as I saw her looking at her cellphone and typing purposely. She furrowed her brows and let out a sigh.

"She never went to Japan. I heard from Jessie, she and Ken broke up a month after you got in the military."

I waited for her to see me, to look at our direction and met my eye.

Then slowly she raised her head taking a double take when she saw me. She smiled weakly and I smiled back.
