The door creaks open as Jaehee pushed it hard. She brought two suit cases with her containing nothing but clothes and books. Jungkook said that the apartment was fully furnished and there might be not spaces for her personal belongings.
It doesn't matter actually if there are no space. It's been a while she bought something personal, and she sold it online a couple of months ago.
She wheeled in the suitcases she have when she saw something on top of the table. It was a note from Jinri saying Jungkook asked her to buy her some food.
Jaehee smiled, even if Jungkook was really new to subletting, forgetting to draft the contract for her to signed and then went away for the tour, at least he cared so much as his landlord.
A BTS member is my landlord.
She was unable to hold her chuckle.
After eating the food Jinri left, Jaehee rests on the sofa and turned the tv on. It comes with a cable subscription and she needs to remind Jungkook to cancel it. She doesn't see herself watching that much tv anyway and the additional expense is something she is avoiding.
When she got her phone to text Jungkook, there were a couple of missed calls from Unknown number. Then as she was looking at it, it rang.
"Hello?" She asked.
Letting out an exasperated sigh, "Finally! I've been calling you for ages!" The voice sounded familiar.
"Jin?"
"Yes, were you expecting somebody else?" Jin answered while he was still chewing. She was tempted to say that it could be her brother or Ken or a couple of people except a member of his favorite band but she knows he'll just asked more question.
"Why are you calling?"
"You busy?" Jin didn't even wait for her reply. "No one's available to talk to me and I got tired of playing online games so I figured I called you. How's the new apartment? Have you eaten?"
"Why not call your mom or your father?" Jaehee asked back as she switches the channel.
Jin went silent, he was thinking the same thing. He doesn't know the answer, the moment the guys began going into their own room after their practice and their group chat became silent, he just thought he'll call Jaehee. "I already called them, they're busy." He lied instead.
"I'm actually resting— there's nothing good on tv. I unpacked my bags— this apartment is kinda small compared to our house but it's cozy. I ate the bibimbap Jinri left in the fridge. If don't have any more questions, I'll end the call." She said as a program caught her attention.
"Know what Jaehee, why don't you wear a condom on your head." Jin said calmly.
Jaehee frown, thinking if she heard that incorrectly. "Excuse me?"
"You heard me, I mean— if you wanna be a dick to me why not dress like one, too." Jin laughed. "Okay, joke's aside— don't be mad— I called to talk and you're dismissing me like The Bachelor is more important than me. You're our fan! I expected more from you."
Jaehee looked at the tv show and around the room, it's impossible that Jin knows—
"It the same tv show I'm watching here in the hotel. I could hear the same thing in your house. So what happened today?" Jaehee could hear Jin eating something. "Let me change this to video so I could see your face."
