"Jin..." Jaehee said halting her smile upon seeing me. "This is uhmmm— ah—"

"Oh...I'm Ken." He said as he extend his hand as he looked at stumped Jaehee and back to me.

"Hi. Jin. I heard so much about you." I said as I reached out.

Ken's reaction suddenly went nervous as his eyes furrowed. "Can't say the same for you. Wait. I— are you— two—" He said.

"NO!" Jaehee immediately answered. It was dart to my heart. "Not like that."

I smiled. "I brought some food. I thought you skipped dinner again."

"We've eaten a while ago but thanks." She said as she took the bag from my hand avoiding my gaze.

Ken was back in her life. Superman is back and I'm a fucking ant that she won't give time to.

"I need to go. Jaehee can we talk for a while? Alone?" I said.

"Sure. Uhmmm— Ken?" She said.

"I'll be outside. I'll talk to Jaesung." He said as she tap her shoulder and went out of the room.

I stayed still. Looking at her. Thinking of what to say. I just want her alone. I don't want her to be with him.

I think... for the first time in my life. I am fucking jealous of someone I just met.

"What do you want to talk about?"

"I don't know." I said.

"What?" She smiled.

Instead of answering her, I moved in closer.

She looked at me nervously, never parting her eyes from mine.

I leaned in a capture her lips. Slowly puckering and savoring her taste. Her fist crumpled my shirt at my action but she never pushed back. I slowly traced her back as her hand slowly loosened as she kissed me back.

My hand reached her nape and I pulled her closer. Sucking her lips fervently. Stopping momentarily to breath but never letting go.

When we finally stopped, my arms locked her to my chest. Letting her hear my thundering heartbeat.

"I'll fight for you... I meant that... but if you're happier with him. If you can laugh in times like this with him... I'll let go." I said as I loosened my embrace and turned around.

All I can hear was Jaehee's breathing. "I have to go. I can't attend the burial. They changed our departure date. I'll call you when I get back. Let me know your decision by then."

When we left for the tour, that's also the time when we drifted apart. I might've read that kiss differently. Maybe she was just feeling vulnerable that's why she gave in.

I really thought I have a chance against Ken. That was stupid. You can't reverse half a decade of feelings for a guy who always save your ass to someone you met in a few months.

"Boo!" Jungkook said startling me. We are in a hotel and I decide to seat back in the fire exit.

When I jolted, Jungkook starts to laugh.
