As soon as Yukino calmed down, we prepared to head to Meteor Palace, an old castle that is now nothing but a pile of stones. It was quite a distance from here, and would probably take us a day or two to get there by foot.

Although we know it could be a trap, it was the only lead we have in finding Pierre. There was nowhere else we could search him, and him inviting us to that place must mean something.

"Let's go."

We left the inn with our hooded-cloaks on, intimidating some of the mages that we passed by. I even saw the one who verbally harassed me with his perverted words, and he flinched in fear upon seeing the face of the man beside me.

Cobra held my hand tightly as we exited the inn, and as we got in a distance, I summoned Corvus so Jellal could anonimously tip the magic council about the inn. We then continued with our journey, walking nonstop and only took a rest now so we could eat.

"N-Nee-sama, t-that's embarrasing..." I can't help but smile as I watched Sorano flashing a revealing dress to Yukino, urging her to wear it so they're wearing matching clothes.

"Oh please, please?" Sorano pouted, clasping her hands together in a pleading manner as she stared at Yukino with what resembled a puppy's eyes.

Watching them reminded me that I shouldn't let my anger towards Pierre control me, and that I shouldn't focus on it. We don't know what could happen once we get there, so I should probably enjoy my time with them while I still could.

"F-Fine..."

"Yay!" Sorano excitedly pulled Yukino to a distance, probably going to dress her up with the clothing similar to what she was wearing. I giggled at the sight of their happy smiles, and hoped that it would last.

I hope to see more of those, more of the happy faces of everyone.

"I've never seen her that enthusiastic before, her happiness is contagious." Meredy commented, a warm smile on her face as she watched the siblings running off.

"That's the love of siblings, desu ne!"

She's right, it's heartwarming. Seeing Yukino and Sorano smile despite the situation made me smile as well. They reminded me of how Fairy Tail used to be.

'Fairy Tail, huh? I kinda miss them.'

Just then, the sound of loud rustling and footsteps approaching in a fast manner caught our attention. We immediately stood up, going in defensive position as we waited for whoever it was to reveal him or herself.

A large, green, scaly creature leaped out from the bushes, ignoring us as it continued to run. But before it could go further, a bunch of swords dashed to its direction, successfully trapping it from any possible moves.

Wait... Those swords... Could it be--?

"I told you, running away is futile." The familiar voice made my eyes widen and my heartbeat quicken, my hands shaking in anticipation as I turned to the person coming from the same direction the lizardman came from.

"Now return what you stole."

It was as if my world had stopped and my feet were glued to the ground as I stared at her beautiful brown eyes, her fair skin glowing under the sunlight and her long, red hair blowing back lightly.

She headed straight to the direction of the lizardman that was now cowering in fear, stretching her hand out as if asking for something. I watched as the creature shakily gave her a semi-small box before running away as soon as her swords disappeared.

She turned around to face us, her eyes widening in shock as our gazes met, but then it was quickly replaced with a smile.

"Lucy."
