You know what's even worse than Jenna and Tyler having a pregnancy scare?

ME AND JOSH HAVING A PREGNANCY SCARE.

Only, it's just MY scare right now, because I haven't told anyone yet. I was supposed to get my period six days ago, which I do keep track of since I stopped taking birth control 4 years ago. To add the icing on the cake, I've been feeling VERY under the weather lately, but feeling totally fine as the day goes on.

I've kind of been blaming it on the fact that, a couple days before Ben moved back home, he had a stomach bug. I made sure to stay out of the house and disinfect everything when he left.

Jenna, Tyler, and Josh are going to be home in a couple hours and are expecting me to tag along for the next couple shows, but I don't know if I can even handle it right now.

I've decided to just wait until Jenna is home and drag her out of the house to take a test with me. I'll hold off on telling anyone else for now.

I've been decorating my apartment all morning, since Halloween is right around the corner (still a month away). I've always been a huge fan of Halloween, so I like to go all out. This year, however, I've finally bought my first house. BY MYSELF. So, a lot of things are packed away. I still like to have spooky things surrounding me, spooky or not. I should be all moved in by Halloween and be able to decorate my yard, but the goal is to be moved in by my birthday, which is a week before.

I finish putting up the spider string lights when I get a text from Jenna.

From Jenna: HEYYYY we're almost home. Prob gonna shower right away, wanna grab a bite with me in like an hour?
To Jenna: YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY actually, i was gonna bring you with me for a couple errands. just txt me when you're ready and i'll swing by

I hear the front door unlock, and already know who it is. Josh practically lives here now when he's off the road. The cats always run to the door before he walks in, too. Every time.

They start doing this weird meow when he walks in, almost like they're singing together.

"Hey Artie! Aww, there's my little V." The man's on the floor, seconds after coming home, rolling around with my cats. I ask myself a lot why we didn't get together sooner, because he's clearly my soulmate.

I hate to say it, though. He's the last person I want to see right now.

Okay, definitely not the last, but he just can ALWAYS tell when I'm hiding something, or when something's wrong. I just want to be for sure before I say anything.

"Hey, how's the tour been so far?" I sit down on the wooden floor, before being smothered by one of my cats, Artemis.

"Good, would be better with you, but still good."

I feel bad, because I only got to stay with them for a week before I had to come home. I didn't even get to go to NYC, which would have been a couple days ago. But I really needed to be there for my brother.

"Well, you get me for today and tomorrow. I'll be at the show, of course." Everyone is only back for a couple days. They have a show in Columbus tomorrow night, and it's back on the road right after. I haven't decided if I'll go to the show in Michigan this weekend or not.

"That's definitely better than nothing." He quickly gives me a peck on the lips before getting up and grabbing his bag. "I'm gonna lay down for a while and take a shower. You going anywhere?"

"I'm running to the store with Jenna in a little while. Your mom invited us to dinner tonight, don't forget."

"Already did. I'll be ready."

Jenna sprints to my car, looking extremely excited, as always.

"I missed you, I missed you, I missed you!" She reaches over and squeezes me in a hug.

We head out to Walmart, and I'm quiet most of the way there. She starts to notice.

"What's wrong? You have said three words to me on this whole car ride."

"Well, to be fair, it's only a five minute drive from your house." I tease.

Jenna stopped pestering me about 'acting weird' after we got half way through the grocery list. But, then we started going toward the pregnancy tests.

I put one in the cart, and she just gives me this look. She's confused for a minute, but her jaw drops.

"What is that for?!"

"What do you think?"

"DELILIAH."

Jenna's still getting over her scare, which was just a couple weeks ago. Her and Tyler are VERY RELIEVED. They want kids, just not NOW.

I'm in the same boat. I never wanted kids when I was with Shawn. But since I've gotten older, I've started to change my mind a little bit now. I'm definitely not ready, though. And neither is Josh.

"We're doing this right here, right now!" She yells, a little too loud, and grabs the box from the cart.

"Jenna, I'm not taking it in a WALMART BATHROOM."
