To Delilah: Sorry for hanging up like that. Just please be careful
I hit the send button just as we finish up our soundcheck for the night. Mia called me an hour ago to tell me that Delilah and Ben just got back from "the" concert. Which I was completely unaware of.
"What concert?"
"Oh. She didn't tell you?"
Yeah, no. Mia sent me the name of the band. I googled it only to find that they were playing in Columbus tonight...with Delilah's ex's band. Who she's had an ongoing restraining order against, for multiple reasons.
Naturally, I called her as soon as I found out. She still didn't bother to tell me, but when I questioned her about it, she didn't lie. But, still. Isn't that something you would want to tell your CURRENT boyfriend, who's on the other side of the country? I ended up hanging up on her, but felt bad almost instantly. She didn't answer when I called her back, hence the text.
"Josh! Five minutes." Tyler yells. I suddenly feel like something isn't right.

"Is Joshua available?" A woman's voice asks, on the other end of Josh's phone. He gave it to me to record some stuff for Snapchat during the show.
"Not at the moment. Can I take a message?"
"Sorry, we can't release any information. Just have him contact Riverside Methodist Hospital at the earliest convenience. It's urgent."
Click.
I feel the urgency as I look up at the guys, who are on their way to the stage.
"Guys!" I yell, loud enough for them to hear me. "Riverside just called your phone, Josh."
His eyes nearly double in size.
"What did they say?"
"They wouldn't tell me anything. They asked for you. Said it was urgent."
"Shit." He grabs his phone, calling the number.
"Should I go stall for a minute?" Tyler half-asks, but runs out to the stage anyway.

"Thank you for calling OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital. If you are calling for an emergency, or a life-threatening injury, please hang up and dial 911 now."
Ring, ring, ring.
"Riverside Methodist, can you please hold?"
Are you kidding me right now?
"Uh, no. Sorry. I'm returning a call. My name is Joshua Dun."
"Oh! Okay, yes. We called on behalf of Delilah Olsson. You were listed as her secondary contact in case of emergencies."
My eyes shut, tight. Don't say it.
"There's been an accident."

"The next flight leaves in an hour, but it's still a four hour flight." Jenna says, looking up plane tickets on her phone.
We just cancelled the show. Four minutes before we were supposed to come out. The nurse said there was a car accident, but Delilah was alive. In a semi-stable condition. When I asked about the baby, she said that they were still running tests. She couldn't give me anymore information.
If they called me, that means Ben didn't pick up. Or he was with her. He's her primary emergency contact. I already tried calling Mia, but she's probably asleep by now. We're three hours behind and it's already 10PM.
Tyler has not said a word since I tried to explain what's going on. I don't even know what's going on, to be quite honest. I'm scared to even mention the possibility that he-who-mustn't-be-named had anything to do with it. Tyler would flip. But I'm sure he's not innocent. What a coincidence, my girlfriend gets into a car accident and is brought into the hospital unconscious, the same night her abusive ex is in town.
"I just want to be there as soon as possible."
