Chapter 6-Jack the Jerk

Rain's POV

Well the next day was totally not what I was expecting. Everyone was congratulating me on my big win. Even the teachers were chuckling when I walked in the classroom. Dang,I forgot I have one class with Jack. Not with Kait or Ethan. Nooo. He'll sit next to me and torture me the whole class! Uh oh here he is. I thought as he walked into the classroom with a purple bruised nose....and a cut. wow.

"Hey cutie. Move over." here we go. I moved my stuff over hesitantly. "Hi." I said as he sat down next to me.

"So how are you?" he said as he hooked his arm around my neck. Well he was on my left side so instantly I flinched. He just slightly laughed. What a jerk. I pushed his arm off behind me without thinking- bad idea. Instead he rested his hand on my lower back..lower than that even. "Stop." I grabbed his arm and put it on the desk. "I'm trying to focus." And I transferred from looking at the board and my growing page of notes.

Every now and then he would look at me (i would hear his head turn, and sometimes I would look at him to see what he was looking at). I'm so not saying where. Sometimes my face,though. Of course I was paying attention to him too, because you never know what he might do.

He reached his hand under the desk and put his hand on my knee which I just moved my knee. He did it again, and this time I moved his hand off, and gave him an annoyed/angry look. He did it a third time, only on my thigh. Burn in hell.

Jack's POV (brace yourself)

She's just so hot. I can't help but look at her-not just her face. So I keep reaching my hand under the table to grab her knee, hoping it would turn her on. Knee wouldn't work, so I tried thigh- closer to her spot. I smile and pretend to work. First,she lets me leave it there for like 5 minutes! maybe I'll get lucky today. Then I see her reach her hand closer to me, I hope she'll touch my knee too, and instead, she makes a fist and jabs me in the ribs. I had to take my hand off her to hold my side.

Someone behind us saw and started whispering to their desk partner; they started laughing quietly, but I tapped their desk "Hey, guess what" I gave them the bird- so they told the teacher and I got a lunch detention. At least I got to first base.

Ethan's POV

Okay let me just state, I am so not happy with Jack right now. It doesn't mean that I want a fight.

*after school*

I see Jack and walk over to him with Kait.

"Jack." I say as Kait makes a fist,but I grab her hand and she looks at me with narrowed eyes.

"What do you want" Jack said putting his hands in his pockets while looking at Kait with a smile.

"You need to stay away from Rain,OK? She doesn't need to deal with your crap right now." I poked his chest with my index finger.

"I'm the best thing that happened to her after the accident." Poor choice of words. That set Kait off.

"You know what, stay the hell away from us asshole. Especially Rain. The whole school would be better off without you." and then she kicked him where it hurts most.. "Bitch." and we walked away to my car where Rain was watching Jack fall on the ground with wide eyes.
