A new time

Chapter 5-The Fight

Rain's POV

Okay,I admit shoving Jack against the wall wasn't the best thing to do. I was just mad. But now after school,I can tell he's looking for a fight- with a girl. Me.

"Hey that little show earlier, it was cute. I'd like to actually see you fight, though." Jack smirked. He was wearing a red tee, black shorts, and red and white tennis shoes. He has black short hair and brown eyes.

Ethan leaned closer to my ear. "Hey, you don't have to do this, after all you're still half blind, and if someone comes to the left of you..." he trailed off. We both know what could result if that happened. I'll get hurt- bad.

I spoke to Jack- "Alright. Let's fight, asshole. Fight a girl." I crossed my arms and lifted my head up high in dominance. An 'Oooooh' rose from the crowd that was gathering. I smirked, Jack frowned and took a step forward. "Oh yeah? Let's see what you got." he made the motion 'come at me '. You'll get what you're asking for soon enough. I made the motion back. "Alrigh-" he stopped short for surprise and lunged a fist at me....and missed.

Laughter rose all around us, and he made a mistake by turning his back on me to tell them to quiet down; I aimed my knuckles at his spine in a fist- I hit on target. "Ahhh!!!" he yelled and let out an angry snort of air. Everyone went silent to watch, while Ethan watched with a concerned expression behind me. Of coarse I kept my head at an angle,so I could see fully with my right eye.

Jack threw a punch and I let him hit my right shoulder- the one that isn't partly split. I gave a straight face and laughed because it hardly hurt! Honestly! So I just started flexing my arm muscles and dodging his hits, also occasionally pretending to yawn; it only made him madder.

So he held his hands up in truce. I knew that he wouldn't surrender that easily so I guessed there was a plan going on in his mind; I shook his hand anyway and pretended like I knew nothing but that I won.

I was right- he stopped shaking my hand and very firmly, held it, and yanked my arm forward hard enough to have our lips lock; I clenched my teeth so if he tried to use his tongue, he wouldn't be able to slip it in my mouth. I tried pulling away, but he has iron hands when he wants to- he had his arm wrapped around my waist so I could only go forward. Of course he would do that.

Thank goodness Ethan was watching because (and I forgive him for touching my breasts) he stuck his hand in between our chests, and pushed Jack very hard back away from me, and since Jack's arm was locked around my waist Ethan locked his forearm the other way- against my stomach.

That made him beaten, so he turned and walked away, talking to his friends. Then he looked back and smirked while blowing a kiss to me, while I just flipped him off. Don't mess with me, jerk.

"Are you alright? Was that the split shoulder he hit?" Ethan asked anxiously, checking me over.

"I'm alright. No, that was not the split shoulder. But I do think I have a bruise now." I smiled at him. Thank you. I hug him, and he hugs tight back.

"I already saved you once,don't make me save you again." (Crowpaw- Warriors Cats 2 series) he winked. "Now let's get you home, and tell Kait what happened in the car." We walked to his car,(where Kait was waiting) and all got in.

Kait's POV

"You WHAT?!" I more yelled, than asked but oh well.

"I fought Jack. And I don't even know who won!" she says as she put an ice pack on her shoulder,which it had begun to turn black and purple.

"And then he kissed her." Ethan said, glancing in the rear view mirror. "I shoved him off though. You forgive me, right Rain?" he asked while pulling into her driveway.

"Yeah,I do." she said getting out of the car and making her way to the door.

"What'd he do? Oh wait, nevermind. Carry on." I said following Rain to her house.

"I'll leave you two be, okay? See you in the morning. I'll be picking you up." he said out the window as he started to back up.

"Ugh, I'm fine. I can walk with Kait. I will." Rain said annoyed. "No you won't. Whether you like it or not, I'm driving you tomorrow." And he drove off before she could reply.

*after they told Rain's mom everything about the fight*

(In Rain's room) "Hey, do you wanna stay over tonight? It's pretty late and I already asked my mom- she says yes." Rain asked.

"Yeah sure." *texting her mom* Buzz. "Yep,I can."

"Okay great; goodnight." she laid back on her bed and I went downstairs to sleep on the couch where a pillow, a few blankets, and a fan were waiting. How thoughtful.

I laid down, pulling the blanket up, and went to sleep.
