Rain's POV
I woke up and got some breakfast, then headed outside. The wind was blowing slightly, and the sun was warm on my back. I took a moment to take it all in,with a smile on my face as I closed my eyes.
I stood there for a few moments just taking in the warmth, then I heard a small, high pitched meow. I opened my eyes and turned around to a cinder colored kitten, with her eyes closed.
"Mrow" she mewed again, and stumbled over to me. She started rubbing against my leg and what I guessed was a purring noise. I picked her up and scratched her on the head. "Mew" she purred.
I went back inside and set her on the table, then went into the kitchen and got out a plate and milk from the fridge. I looked back before pouring and found the kitten at the edge of the table ready to fall off with one more step.
"No!" I said. I ran over and grabbed the kitten off. "You're a little stinker" I smiled and pet the kitten.
I poured the milk on the plate, walked over to the dining table and set the plate down with the kitten next to it. "Here, you go" I said. Her reply was a sniff at the plate,"Mrow" and then she laid down on the table. Better get a bottle, then.
I multitasked and quickly searched for a bottle from being a baby, and keeping an eye on the rascal kitten. I found the bottle just as the kitten started wandering around on the table.
"Oookay little one," I paused as I picked her up again, held her on my hip and tipped the plate towards the bottle, "what are you? A few weeks old?" I popped the cap on and set it on the table to tip the kitten on its back. The kitten immediately sucked on the bottle, placing its tiny paws on the front of the bottle. "Awwwwwe" I grinned and sat on the couch.
"What should I call you?" I wondered out loud. "Well, you do have cinder fur,and blue eyes. How about.....", I thought for a moment,"Cinderheart or Silvermist. I think I like Cinderheart better."
*skip some time cuz I'm lazy*
Kait's POV
"Can I hold her?" I asked Rain.
"Me next!" Ethan said.
"Be gentle" she gave me a look and jerked her head towards the broken mannequin.
"Don't worry,I will" I smiled as Rain handed me the small kitten. "Adorable" I said, and stroked its tiny back. I handed the kitten to Ethan.
As he pet her he said "Can I keep her?" and chuckled.
