Rain's going to be pissed at me for not telling her. Lucas (A.K.A. the driver who hit Rain) met me at Starbucks and told me everything,then asked me out and the shocking part is I actually said 'yes'.
I got up the courage to dial her. It rang 2 ½ times before she picked up:
"Hello? Oh hey,Kait;what's up?"
"Heyyy,Rain," I stretched out the y. "I need to tell you something and I need you to not go all Sparta on me,okay?"
There was a pause and I thought she hung up but then I heard, "Okayy.. why can't I be Sparta?"
"Because.. " I sighed. "the driver who hit you asked me out after he told me everything his name is Lucas, I wanted to tell you last night but Ethan walked in and I wanted it to be a girl talk I-"
She cut me off, "DID YOU SAY YES?!?!?!"
"Umm....to him asking me-"
"YEAH!!!"
"Oh! Um, yes I said yes. The date is tonight." I answered awkwardly.
"Ooooooohhh!!! I gotta get over there and help you get ready!! I'll be there in 5!" I heard rustling noises in the background. Oh no..
