Rain's POV
"Ugh where's Kait" I whispered to myself. She had texted me earlier this morning that she wanted to hang out; and my mom is always fine with my friends coming over, as long as we aren't disturbing the neighbors.
Me: Hey where are you? It's been like 20 minutes!
It was a few minutes before I got a reply saying-
Kait: I'm driving over there right now,calm your arse.
I sighed and layed on my back while surfing Twitter, then Instagram when I didn't find anything interesting.
I got another text that read- Kait: And it was 12 minutes.
Then a knock on the door sounded. Yay she's finally here! No more waiting! I happily thought.
I made my way down the stairs, to the door, and opened it.
"I have your tomatoes and mushrooms pizza right here if you want to pay and sign; also- don't be surprised if you find a slice or two missing." she said.
"Yeah wrong house and wrong car,Kaitlyn." I teased.
"Don't you dare call me that again" she said in a dark tone. I knew she hates it when I called her by her full name,but even so she says that in a half-joking way.
I hugged her and stepped aside so she could come in.
* * * * *
"What movie should we watch?" Kait asked,flipping through the line on Netflix while I made kettlecorn in the microwave.
"Uummm how about......Jaws!!" I said excitedly as I pulled the popcorn out and ate a piece before setting myself onto the couch next to Kait.
"Aww come on Rain!! Why do you like shark movies that kill people so much?!" she grumbled for at least the thousandth time that I've mentioned shark movies.
"Because they're awesome and I like violent shark movies. Easy." I popped another piece in my mouth.
She rolled her eyes. "Hey how about Ace Ventura orrrrr The Little Mermaid?"
"Two questions. Which AV? Just exactly why Little Mermaid??"
"Call of the Wild. I have no idea-it was in the 'Recommended' section." she stole a corn piece.
"AV I guess."
Knock knock. The door opened to Ethan strolling in while saying "Bonjour ladies. Rain you got soda?" and started towards the fridge.
"Yeah,in the left bottom drawer." I said distractedly as the movie began. "Quick it's starting."
"Okay, calm down." he sat next to me,but our thighs were touching and my cheeks flushed pink but I kept watching the screen.
We were laughing our arses off from Jim Carrey. A couple times my eyes got watery, and my sides hurt from laughing too hard.
I don't even know how but halfway in Kait dozed off so she went to the mattress on the floor of my room after I woke her up to tell her to go to bed.
I got cold so I cuddled up next to Ethan with a blanket over us both. "Hold up." Ethan suddenly said and got up. "I know what can make you warm up faster." he smirked. "Dancing"
He knew how much I hated dancing but oh well. He already pulled me up to my feet I glared at him and shook my head slightly.
I tried my best, and I probably looked like a dumbass who couldn't even dance with a pillow,he twirled and spun me a few times and in the end somehow we ended up face to face,and breathing fast like we ran a marathon. Our eyes locked and we stared at each other for a while, then I noticed that we were 2 and a half inches apart.
I cleared my throat then said, "Well, thanks. That actually did warm me up." I smiled.
"Yeah. Let's finish watching the movie" he plopped down on the couch while I went to the kitchen to make more kettlecorn.
Ethan's POV (No freakin hate "Kait" I have something planned for you too)
I occasionally grabbed some kettlecorn while watching the movie with Rain snuggled up next to me asleep. I couldn't stop thinking of at the end of that dance,I could've kissed her right then and there but she probably wouldn't've kissed me back. She likes someone else, liably.
I looked down at her. So peaceful. Every now and then she would squeeze my arm, from her dream. She looks so beautiful when she's sleeping. The next thing I knew it,I was dreaming about holding her hands and kissing her deeply.
Rain's POV
I dreamt of Ethan kissing me passionately,cupping my cheeks in his hands and I grabbing his shirt to pull him closer. Also a scene of me cuddled against Ethan played in my mind.
