The circus members were currently gathered around the gravel of what used to be their circus. Rosette was standing alongside Anne having a small conversation when P.T. showed up.
"The bank said no?" Phillip asked with a knowing tone.
"Yeah." P.T. looked at Phillip before looking at the rest of the members who he knew as a second family.
"I'm really sorry to disappoint you all." P.T. apologized.
"Don't worry Barnum, we've gotten used to it by now." Charles smirked, the members all chuckling.
Phillip grabbed Rosette's hand, her intertwining her fingers with his and wrapping her other hand around his arm as the both of them walked closer to P.T.
"You know Barnum." P.T. turned back towards Phillip.
"The first time I met you, you were a determined man. You told me that being here will be worth it, that it will be a better life and you know what? You were right. I brought me friendship, love and a work that I adore." Phillip smiled at Rosette before looking back at P.T.
"You brought joy into my life."
"Into all of our lives." Lettie added, the rest of the members cheering in agreement.
"And you forgot I had ten percent of the show." Rosette gave P.T. a wink.
"And knowing who I was working for, I had the good sense to take my cut weekly." P.T. gaped at Phillip.
"Phillip I can't let you gamble it on me I-"
"Oh so you care about us now." Anne joked stepping beside Rosette.
Everyone laughed. Phillip gave P.T. a knowing smile before letting go of Rosette and reaching his hand out for P.T. to shake.
"Partners." Phillip stated.
"Fifty fifty." P.T. shook Phillips hand with a smile.
Rosette let out a laugh, which was followed by the other's laughs.
"The only thing is." Phillip started.
"I don't know how we are going to afford a building."
P.T. stared off into space thinking while the members all looked at him. Rosette was the first to see his eyes light up with an idea and her lips lifted in a small smile.
"Building, we don't need a building. Realestate MAnhattan is a terrible investment. Wait...I could get land down by the docks for almost nothing." P.T. pointed his hand our behind him.
"All we need." P.T. turned to look at Phillip and Rosette with a smile.
"Is a tent." He finished.
Rosette and Phillip turned their heads and looked at each other, Rosette giving Phillip a grin with her dimples showing clearly. Phillip smiled back before looking at the rest of the members and nodding his head.
*The greatest show song (ending half)*

(P.T. watched as Rosette elegantly twirled and flipped on the rope high above before Anne came around in the hoop grabbing Rosettes outstretched hand, flying her around the room before setting her on the floor)

(Rosette, dancing with the other members, gave P.T. a smile making her way towards him with her own hat in her hand since she claimed the title of the Ringmistress and Tightrope walker.

(P.T. grabbed grabbed Rosettes hand and twirled her around giving her a smile as she and him stood on a stool waving their hats around)

(Rosette saw P.T. give Phillip his hat and smiled when she saw Phillip make his way towards the rest of the circus members.)

(Rosette ran to Phillips giving him a smile as Anne and W.D dropped beside them and they followed the dance routine the rest of the members were doing)

(Phillip grabbed Rosette's hand twirling her around.)

(Phillip dipped Rosette, both of them taking off their hats. Rosette gave him the most largest smile he has ever seen before they both leaned in and kissed, the members all cheering along with the audience around them.)
Rosette pulled back and opened her eyes looking into Phillips.
"I guess our journey was fun as forbidden lovers." Phillip joked.
"You ruined the moment Phil. Why'd you have to be cheesy." Rosette cringed.
Phillip laughed pulling her up from her dipped position and leaning in again.
They were happy.
And both of them knew that as long as they each other and the circus members who they now call family, they would and always will be truly happy.
I am soooooo sorry I haven't updated in two weeks. My grandfather died last week and a week before that I was celebrating my birthday a little late.
I don't want this to be the end of this story. It went by to quick. I might add some extra chapters. Which leads to me asking, what do you guys want in a extra chapter. I already have idea's but it's always nice to have more.
