Chapter 4

I was seriously confused. I decided to hang up and call back a few minutes later which I did and after about 3 times I finally got an answer.

"Hello" I heard Brad say.

"Hey brad did you call me because I got a call from you but nobody talked?"

"Yeah I did by accident sorry. I was trying to call someone else"

"Oh" I said being Very disappointed "well ok I just called to ask that, bye"

"Perla wait..." brad said.

"Yeah?" I asked honestly feeling very embarrassed about thinking he would actually call me to talk this late, I mean we just met today I'm sure he wouldn't want anything with me anyways.

"Uhm.... Would you like to do something tomorrow? maybe dinner..... if you want... I mean you don't really have to... It's not a date I just really think we should hang out... as friends" brad asked and sounded extremely nervous.

"Yeah that would be really nice I know it's only going to be my second day here but it's about time I start making some friends" I said smiling.

Brad laughed "I'm your friend" I heard him mumble.

"I know you are" I really couldn't stop smiling for some reason.

"Well have a good night Perla, see you tomorrow"

"Night" I said and hung up.

I woke up to the sound of my phone beeping. I looked at it and saw that I had a text from James.

-Hey perla, it was lovely meeting you yesterday. I wanted to see if you wanted to hang out tonight.... How about dinner? X James

I had no idea what to say. I really wanted to go but I already had plans with Brad..... I can always cancel though.
