Chapter 13

"Miranda it's good to see you up and walking" Bam said as I walked in. "Yah well it hasn't been easy" I sighed as I sat down. "So you must be the Jackass guys" I said to all of them. Really I already knew who they all were. "Yah, I'm Jeff and we already know who you are. We've spent a lot of Saturday afternoons here" Jeff said. "Wow that's sweet. I mean none of you know me" I smiled at them all. "Well once we saw your pretty little face and how Bam and the guys talk about you we knew you were special." Steve-O winked. "I'm really not" I shrugged. "You're wrong, you're gorgeous" Johnny said dreamily. I felt my whole face go red. "Well Umm-, sorry I don't know your name." I apologized. Of course I knew his name, but I couldn't let on that I did. "Oh sorry I'm Johnny Knoxville. I guess we should all probably introduce ourselves" he laughed. "Yah that'd be nice" I laughed with him. "Well this is Steve-O, Danger Ehren, Wee man, Chris Pontius or Party boy, Preston Lacy, Dave England and of course the genius behind this all, Jeff Tremaine" he introduced everyone. He was smart enough to figure out I already knew the other guys. "It's nice to meet all of you and as I was saying Johnny you're not too bad looking yourself" I winked at him. His face turned a light shade of pink causing me to giggle. This time I wasn't going to lose him. I was going to take charge of the situation. There was no way I was losing him to some slutty medic with bigger tits then me. Alright even though it was a dream I really was envious of that chick's rack. "God I'm starving" I moaned as I took a bite of cereal. The guys looked at me weirdly. "Well I've been in a coma for 5 fucking years. I'll eat as much as I like and right now I'd prefer a cheeseburger from McDonald's" I said with a mouthful of Lucky Charms. "That's good to hear because tonight everyone's coming over to our place and your mom and I are going to make the best meal you've ever had" Ape said happily. I smiled and gave her a thumbs up so she knew I was excited. "Now Murr we have a couple of other things to take care of also. See you have two choices. Either you can come and stay with me until you get back on your feet or Bam has said that you can live with him permanently until you get sick of him." My mom said. This one was a no brainer, but I didn't want to hurt my mom's feelings. "Bam who lives with you?" I asked. "Dunn and Novak" he said happily. I raised an eyebrow and shook my head. "Umm mom I think I'm gonna crash at Bam's. I really need to get my board skills back and I want to check out all the Jackass stuff" I said as I took a sip of orange juice. "That's fine, doll. As long as you either call and or visit me" she said sternly. "Of course mom. I mean I have to repay you somehow, especially after all the hell I gave you while growing up." I smiled. She sighed as she remembered my teenager days. A lot of which I'd missed out on. Maybe if I was a good kid I would've never had my accident and missed out on them. "Alright well I wanna get out of this dungeon so let's go" I said as I got up from the table a little too suddenly. I was about to fall over when someone caught me. I looked up and saw Johnny's concerned face. "You alright?" he asked all protectively. "Never been better, but my mother fucking legs don't know how to work properly" I said while smiling . This caused Bam to laugh. I finally noticed that Johnny was still holding onto me. "Umm err I think I can take it from here" I said awkwardly. "Oh yah...sorry" he said shyly as he let go and his face became red. "Here M" Bam said as he bent down in front of me. "What the hell is this?" I asked weirdly. "What the hell does it look like get on my damn back" he laughed. "I'll pass, how about you just be my support as I walk" I passed up his offer. The only reason I declined is because I know Bam and I know for a fact that if I were to get on this dip shit's back he would not hesitate to run me into walls and fall over. "You know me too well" he laughed as he wrapped an arm around my shoulder. I shook my head and laughed and proceeded to walk out of the hospital. I couldn't wait for dinner tonight!!! You don't even know how hungry I am!!! It was like a dream when we pulled up to Ape and Phil's place. It had been so long since I'd seen this place. It was exactly how I remembered it, except that there wasn't the ramp in the driveway and blood on the pavement, we did a lot of stupid shit. The inside was exactly the same too, except it didn't smell like teenage boy anymore. Out of nowhere I felt two arms wrap around my waist. When I turned around I saw Raab. "Well it's nice to see you too Raab" I laughed as I hugged him. "I really missed you" he said quietly and then he kissed me full on the lips. I'm not gonna lie it brought back a lot of memories, but he totally caught me by surprise. If you're wondering, before I had my accident Raab and I had a complicated relationship. We weren't together, it was more like a friend with benefits kind of thing. Except Raab wanted more then that and I just didn't. I wanted to flirt with whoever and do what I wanted. Raab was heartbroken and that's when things got extra complicated. He confessed all his feelings towards me and I had my accident the very next day. There was no closure between us. Once my shock wore off I gasped and pushed him away. "Chris" I said quietly. "Miranda I'm so sorry I wasn't thinking. It's just that I still love you" he said quickly. "Can we talk about this later please?" I asked him. He nodded and walked towards the kitchen. He punched the wall on his way and I knew he was upset. That dude seriously needed to work on his bad temper. "So Dunny bear what'd I miss?" I asked, using his old nickname. "Why do you call him that?" Johnny laughed. "Because I used to make fun of Ry for being fat" I said while squeezing Dunn's cheeks. "Aww was Dunn chubby" Pontius said like he was talking to a baby. "It was baby fat" Ryan muttered. I laughed and gave him a big, sloppy kiss on the cheek. Then he smirked, "I'll tell you what you missed" he said evilly. "Oo spill" I said as I sat down on the counter. "Yah spill" Johnny chuckled at my choice of words. "Bam is back with Missy" he tattled. I felt my face go red and my nostrils flare. "You're not serious" I said as the anger boiled up inside of me. "Oh yah I'm totally serious" he laughed as he took a drink of his beer. "BRANDON MARGERA GET YOUR CUTE LITTLE ASS IN THE KITCHEN!!!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. Not even 5 seconds later Bam was walking into the kitchen. "Holy shit, which one of you idiots touched her rack" he laughed. "Oh no you're the one on my bad side" I growled at him. "What did I do?!" he yelled. "You fucking idiot, how could you get back together with that dirty twot?!" I yelled as I jumped off the counter and got really close to him. Realization crossed over his over. "It just sort've happened" he shrugged. "You Bam are the role model of stupid" I said as I poked him in the chest. "M listen-" he began. "Bam please don't" I said quietly. "Bam you're so much better then this. She cheated on you, please I don't want you to go through that again" I pleaded. He nodded and pulled me into a hug. "I could say the same thing to you" he whispered. He must've seen Raab kiss me. I looked up at him and nodded. I guess I had a worse time then he did. I mean Bam wasn't the one doing drugs it was me. Bam wasn't the one who overdosed and put himself into a coma. It's the worst thing I've done and I like to keep it quiet. I don't ever want the Jackass guys to find out that's how I got into a coma. I take it that they didn't know in the first place, since a several of the guys had asked me how it happened today. They got the hint that I didn't want to talk about it, though. I know I'm an idiot and stupid, but I was a kid and thought I was super cool because I got high all the time. I never really had closure to the whole drug thing. You'd think I'd learned my lesson from overdosing, but I was really itching for some of the good stuff from my old supplier. I think the CKY guys could tell by all my twitching, but I just told them I was restless from sleeping for 5 years straight and I couldn't wait to get on a board. There's no way I was going back to my old ways, hopefully.
