Chapter 19

"Alright Johnny I'm gonna kick your ass!!" I yelled after him. "Yah, but that's only if you can catch me" he laughed as I ran after him in the IHOP parking lot. He'd called me a mediocre driver. No one insults my skills. All of a sudden he stopped running. He turned around and smirked at me. "What?" I glared at him. "Truce?" he offered as he opened up his arms for a hug. "Only if you take it back" I said as I crossed my arm. "How about this" he said as he walked over to me and wrapped his arms around my waist. My breath caught in my throat as he pulled me close to him and kissed me passionately. I felt my legs turn to jelly at the kiss. "You're killing me Knoxville" I whispered as we pulled apart. "You've been killing me for 5 years" he said back. I smiled and kissed him again. "Come on ass wipes, we're starving!!" Dunn yelled at us. I laughed and flipped him off before grabbing Johnny's hand and walking towards the restaurant. We sat down and you could tell we were bothering people. We chose to use our outside voices this morning. "Hi what can I get you boys and girl" the waitress said as she muttered my name and looked me over disgustedly. We all ordered our meals and the waitress made sure to run her hand over Johnny's shoulder. I could feel my face redden and I flared my nostrils. I know that bitch saw us walk in hand in hand, dumb bitch. She came back with our food and I was going to show her what was mine. I grabbed the back of Johnny's neck and kissed him passionately. I heard her slam my plate down and walk away. "Sorry you just looked really cute" I smiled as I took a bite out of my pancakes. "I think you were just jealous" Johnny chuckled. "I'm too fine to get jealous" I smirked as I took a bite out of my pancakes. He rolled his eyes and laughed at me before returning to his meal. "So boys what are we doing today?" I asked. "Well M we have an off day" Tremaine informed me. "Ooo yay!! That means I get to skate with you dicks!!" I yelled happily and got disapproving looks from the elderly couple next to us. "Oh no no no, you can barely walk straight" Bam said as he shook his head. "What the fuck man. You just let me drive your car at 100 miles per hour." I said shocked. "Yah but-" he started. "No ass monkey" I said as I put up a hand to silence him. "Fine" he mumbled quietly. "That's what I thought" I smirked as I ate my pancakes. After breakfast we all drove home and I instantly ran in the back yard. Bam came out carrying two boards. He handed me one and I knew right away it was custom. "I got this for you as a get well soon gift" he said as he handed it to me. It was sweet. The bottom of it was my name in rasta. The wheels and trucks were Birdhouse, he knew that was my favorite brands and the bearings were bonez. This board was sweet. "Thank you Bammy" I said as I hugged him. "Anything for you M" he said sweetly. "Now let's see what you can do" Dave said with his arms crossed. "I may be a bit rusty" I warned before skating into the bowl. I instantly felt everything come back to me. For the first time since I've woken up I felt confident in my legs. I did some of my own made up tricks and then skated back up to the guys. "Wow" Steve-O said. "Yah biatches that's right I can skate" I smirked. "That was sweet baby" Johnny said as he wrapped an arm around my shoulder. "Yah well I wasn't on CKY for nothing" I said as I sat down on the side of the bowl. "Wait you were on CKY?" Tremaine asked. "Umm yah I was the chick with the short purple hair and flat chest" I said. "I didn't know that was you!!" Preston yelled loudly. "You dicks didn't tell them that was me?" I asked in surprise. "No because we knew once they found out that they'd want you on Jackass and we didn't want you to get hurt" Dunn said. "You asses!! I'm a big girl. I'll get hurt if I want!" I yelled as I pushed past them and into the house. I stomped upstairs and went into Johnny's room instead of Dunn's. I heard the door open after me and in walked Johnny. "Hey baby" he said sweetly as he pulled me into his arms. "Why the hell would they do that?" I asked angrily. "They were just trying to protect you" he said softly. "I didn't get any credit for any of those tricks when I made up 90% of them!!" I yelled. "Baby" Johnny said as he kissed me. I pulled away and I suddenly felt calm. "I'm sorry it's just that we were supposed to do this together" I said quietly. "Well M now you can. Jeff wants to sign you to Jackass"
