II | 05 - His Dilemma

BEING AWAY for a long time really pisses me off. But what can I do? Dad won't let me go home unless I am done with the things he required me to do. Now, I got home again and I saw my girl with some other guy.

I am tired and this is what greeted me?! Asar na lumapit ako sa kanila at kinuha ang kamay ng Queen ko na hawak nung isa. It's long enough for a simple handshake. I can see how the guy look at her and I don't like it.

Napatingin silang dalawa sakin. I was about to act rude when my eyes glued on my Queen. God, she's so beautiful! I can't take my eyes off her. She's shining and I missed her so much.

"Bee." Masayang bati niya sakin at niyakap pa ako.

Napakurap ako sa ginawa niya. Lahat ng pagod at pagka-badtrip ko nawala na parang bula dahil lang sa yakap niya.

I wrap my arms tightly but gently at her. Natigilan ako ng magsalita siya.

"You're here." She said and I can clearly hear her voice cracked as she buried her face on my chest.

"Hey." Awat ko nung paiyak na siya. She's really emotional every time I'm home. I felt like a hand squeezing my heart as her tears flow on her cheeks.

She sniffed again. This is no good. I kissed her head. "I'm taking you home." I whispered and she nodded.

"Pare, una na kami." Paalam ko sa kausap niya.

Nagtatakang tumango lang siya.

Umalis na kami ni Yshi habang tahimik na umiiyak pa din siya sa dibdib ko.

"Bee.. stop crying." Alo ko sa kanya ng makalayo kami at pinaupo ko siya sa bench habang nakaluhod ako sa harap niya.

"Sorry, Bee.. it's just that I can't help it." She's trying to dry her tears off.

"I'm here." Alo ko sa kanya at tinulungan siyang tuyuin ang luha niya. "Stop crying please.."

"Bee."

I smiled and kissed her on the forehead. Niyakap ko lang siya at tahimik na hinayaan siyang tumahan.

"How's my Queen Bee?" I asked lightly when as she's coped up.

"I'm good. Ikaw?"

"I'm okay now." I replied as I stared at her.

She smiled and I couldn't help but smile too. I kissed her hands.

"Uwi muna tayo?" Malambing na tanong ko sa kanya.

Tumango naman siya kaya pumunta na kami sa parking lot.

"Maghahanda lang muna ako ng makakain mo." Sabi niya pagpasok namin.

"No, stay here." I sat down at the sofa and pull her down with me.

Niyakap ko siya at pinaupo sa lap ko.

"Kelan graduation mo, Bee?" Tanong ko sa kanya habang yakap siya at nilalaro ang buhok niya.

"I still have a year to go." She gently laid her head on my shoulder while facing at me.

"Nahirapan ka ba?" Masuyong tanong ko at hinaplos ang pisngi niya.

"Just bearable." Sagot niya at naglalambing na yumakap sa akin.

"And my queen's grade?"

Nakangiting humarap siya sakin.

"President's List." Proud na balita niya.

Lumawak ang ngiti ko. No matter what she do and her academic performance result will never affect too much to me. Ang mahalaga sakin, makapagtapos lang siya, but her being a top student makes me feel more proud of her achievements. "What a wonderful gift, baby."
