NAKATITIG LANG ako sa Hu-bee ko habang bini-brief niya kami kung anong gagawin namin kapag naupo na kami bilang Finance Manager sa mga branches ng Castelle Empire. It's his quarterly meeting. In formal ways, siya pa din ang boss ko since siya yung ng CFO ng Castelle Empire.
"You have to be strict if you need to." His words were just passing in and out on my ears and I don't even bother to let it sink in.
Ang pogi niya kasi kaya mas trip kong tumunganga habang pinagmamasdan ang mukha niya. He's tall, smart, and oh-so-gorgeous that I can't take my eyes off him. He's an epitome of a hot and gorgeous bachelor. I can't find any flaw as he stood there in with his authority and power. In a scale of 1 to 10, he's more than 10. He's perfect in my eyes.
No wonder yung mga officemates ko dati parang sinisilaban kapag alam na dadalaw siya. They're all drooling at him. They would swoon if they could. Pero takot lang silang ma-fire kapag ginawa nila yun.
He's a busy man, he have tons of obligations, and yet he still have time for me. Isn't he the sweetest?! Sinong babae ang hindi mahuhulog ang puso sa kanya? My King Bee is perfect in my eyes.
"Caico, are you listening?"
Tumango lang ako at hindi pinansin ang lihim na pagsaway niya sa ginagawa ko. Bakit ba? He can teach me whenever he wants and whenever I need advices. He could be my personal mentor. He's all mine. Mine. He's mine alone. Kinikilig na naman ako.
From the corner of my eyes, I can see my comrades exchanging looks at each other then give me a weird look. I didn't mind them, the most beautiful view in my eyes is in front of me. I'll have a feast on my own. Isa pa, hindi ko naman sila kilala, so why bother?
"Okay, I guess that's all we have to deal with as of now. You can all leave." He finally said and we all stood up and prepare to leave, then he added. "Maiiwan ka Caico."
Napaupo na lang ulit ako at nag-wave dun sa mga kasamahan ko. I saw worriness in their eyes. They already have an idea about our boss' temper. I messed up with the lion. Lagot talaga ako.
I heaved a sigh and let them leave. Si Justin naman, busy sa pag-aayos ng gamit niya.
"Come here, Caico."
Lumapit naman ako at ang sama ng tingin na binigay niya sakin. I bit my lip. Nagsisisi na ako. I did over the line. I shouldn't mix work from personal issues... but, I can't focus.
"You're not listening to the discussion." He said with those sharp eyes.
"I was thinking something. Sorry, Sir." I said formally. Nasa office kami at siya ang boss ko. I am his girlfriend and he loves me so much, but I can't walk past through with his authority. I respect his position, but I guess I did mess up big time.
Tumaas ang kilay niya. "Thinking something?" Ulit niya.
Jeez! Paano ba sabihing 'natulala ako sa kagwapuhan mo kaya di ako makapag-concentrate sa discussion?'
"Well, Caico?" He frowned at me.
Ugh! Better tell the truth than fired for being a liar.
"Ang pogi mo kasi." Nakalabing amin ko sa kanya. Ang sama makatingin, eh!
"Is it my fault?" Kunot noong tanong niya. Mukhang hindi siya makapaniwala sa rason ko.
