Weird Behavior [Part 1]~Boomubbles

All day the Ruff's and Puff's been hanging out. They went to the mall, the carnival, the movies, Etc.

But all day Boomer has been acting strange around his girlfriend, and by acting strange he's been holding in his hormones.

Boomer and Bubbles just began their new relationship this past two months and Boomer knew Bubbles wasn't ready to loose her v-card just yet plus they just started high school, the only thing on her mind is probably a pretty charm bracelet as an anniversary gift from him.

So Boomer has been trying to avoid the annoying questions his group of friends would ask about Bubbles and he would take the brotherly advise his two older brothers would give him which is "Get better group of friend" and "Remember Bubbles isn't original girl, don't take her for granted" 

It made Boomer even more nervous and stay away from Bubbles as far away as possible. But every time she tried to come close to him or even say the word Baby it made Boomer want to melt on the spot.

Bubbles was clueless to what was going on though and frowned every time Boomer shook his head or excused his himself to leave Bubbles alone with the other couples at the table. When the group finally left the Chinese restaurant and walked to Brick's car to go to the next place that they had planned for the night.

Boomer quickly gets in the front seat, and a sharp stare from his older brother is what he gets. "What?" He questions Brick.

"Your siting in my baby's seat. Go to the Back." Brick said pointing to the back. "No way! I got here first!"

"I said. Go. To. The. Backse-" Brick got cut off when he heard his girlfriends voice.

"It's okay Brick. I can sit in the back seat." Blossom said as she open the back door to get inside but got stopped when her boyfriend yelled out of a sudden.

"No! Your sitting in the front with me. I want you by my side." He told her, looking straight into her pink eyes. Blossom blushes to a bright red and fixes her tilted glasses before looking away.

"Get out or else I'll kill you when we get home" Brick said to his younger brother giving him a death glare which made Boomer roll his eyes and sigh loudly. "Fine. Whatever." Boomer grumbled as he continue to get out of the car to go to the backseats.

'I hope Butch sits in the middle. I just can't be next to Bubbles.' Boomer thought

Boomer gets back inside the car just to see a bright beautiful smile by his girlfriend. "Where's Butch and Buttercup?" Boomer asked. "Oh, they went somewhere private. Butch said he did something special for Buttercup since their anniversary is coming up" Brick answered.

'Oh shit. How am I going to avoid her now if she keeps staring at me to sit next to her.'

Boomer gulps and awkwardly smiles back at Bubbles before taking a seat next to her and shutting the car door close. He sat next to the windows and pretended he didn't see her smiling at him. The whole ride it was just Blossom and Brick talking.

While Boomer and Bubbles kept it silent between the two of them. Bubbles played with her locket, her mind lost in thought of not understanding why her boyfriend is acting so weird lately.

So she did what any rational person or girlfriend would do, that is talk to your partner.

"Baby, are you okay?"

Boomer suddenly snaps from his thoughts and clears his throat. 'What should I say? what excuse do I even have?'  He kept silent pretending as if he didn't hear anything . But it only made it worse since Bubbles got closer to him and spoke louder.

"Babe."

Boomer felt her breathing on his neck as she spoke again the word Baby and Babe in his ear so many times until he finally turn his face to face her. 

"Yes Babe?"

"Are you okay? You have been barely talking to me, it almost feels like you been avoiding me" she asked with a concerned look.

"Whaaat?! Me avoiding you? My favorite girl in the whole wide world? Yeah right! As if that could ever happened, I'm fine, baby. I'm fine there's nothing wrong with me." Boomer says with a toothy smile, but it seems like Bubbles doesn't buy it because she pouts her rosey lips.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. Now let's focus on our date."

Bubbles tries her best to smile, but can't stop to think if maybe he had a bad day or maybe he began to get bored and tired. She just cheer up her boyfriend a little and make him at least smile this night, but from the looks of it, it seems like Boomer doesn't want any cheering up so Bubbles doesn't say anything and stares out the window waiting for them to get to their destination.

Once again the car began to get silent. Boomer eyes slowly started closing until he heard his older brother yell out. "We're Here!"

Boomer sat up and look out the window to see where the hell they are at.

They are at the Drive-In. Boomer's eyes snap wide open when he found out the movie was one of those Cliché lovey dovey one's. He saw couples everywhere and that meant there was going to be a lot of making out.

'Oh my gosh I'm dead.' Boomer didn't want to kiss Bubbles or even be an inch close to her. Just hearing her angelic voice made him want to go over to her and hold her hand. But from the way how weird and strange his body has been acting, Boomer will hold back from any contact. He isn't going to force her into doing anything she doesn't want to do. He doesn't want to lose her.

"I'll get the snacks" Brick said as he went to get the snacks that were in the backseat. "I'm going to stay right here. Inside the car."

Brick looks at his younger brother confused. "Why? Don't you want to see the movie with us?"

"I do, but I'll watch it inside the car" he said with a weak smile. Brick narrowed his eyes at him as if he was trying to figure something out but he just shrugged his shoulders.

"Okay. You can join us anytime you want" He told him. Boomer nodded his head and sat up in the front seat since nobody was sitting there. It was all going great until he heard Bubbles voice perk up.

"Hey, Where's Boomie?"

"He's inside the car."

'Shit. Please don't come inside the car.' Boomer felt his palms become sweaty and his hands start too shake. Bubbles started walking to the front of the car and opens the passenger door. "Hey..can I come inside to sit next to you?" Bubbles asks, with flushed cheeks.

Boomer didn't want to turn to look at her face. He was scared to stare at those beautiful big sparkly blue eyes she had because he knew anyone who stared their soul into those eye would fall to their knees. He wanted to say "No" and "Please leave me alone" but, obviously he couldn't. It would hurt her feelings.

"Sure" He gave a small smile before clearing the seat next to his. Bubbles thanks him and quietly gets in. It became so silent that you could probably hear crickets and the boring movie wasn't making it better.

'Is he okay? Why is he acting so strange? Did I do something?' Was Bubbles thoughts, and bitting her lower lip controllably. "Boomer, are you sure you're okay?" She asked again.

"Yes, I'm fine"

"I'm just having this feeling your not. You can tell me you know."

"Yes, I know."

"Okay."

Bubbles wanted to ask again but she couldn't because he was going to respond with the same response. So instead Bubbles got out of the car and excuse herself to the ladies room which Boomer didn't mind. 

Boomer sigh in relief and took a drink from his bottle water telling himself he needed to calm down.

But when Bubbles came back, it made his heart break into two pieces.

"I'm leaving for the night guys. I don't feel so good. I'll see you home Blossom"
