8 hours later and we've landed in Newcastle.
"Brad buddy." I gently shake him. "We're home now." Brad slowly stands up. We leave the plane and then go and reclaim our bags. Several families are in the terminal waiting to be reunited with loved ones. Luckily Brad's mother was just in front of the double doors.
Brad's POV
We're in the airport back in Newcastle. It has a very special place in my heart. Luckily I am able to see Mum as we arrive in the terminal. I waste no time in running over and giving her a massive hug. I feel tears fall from my eyes before I'm sobbing.
"Hello love how are you?" I hear Mum's voice.
"So happy that I'm back." I sob. "That was so brutal. I feel so sick."
"It's alright you're home safe and sound. Was he okay on the flight?"
"He was sick twice." James answered. "But he slept through most of it."
