Zang Yuan's days went smoothly, that is if you exempt the 'coincidental' encounter with Yu Yan every freaking day when Zang Yuan goes to the courtyard of Master Wu.
At first Zang Yuan thought that it was just a coincidence so he didn't think that something was odd. Not until the second, third, fourth, fifth and it's been 8 days already but he still 'coincidentally' met Yu Yan.
He did ask his Master if Yu Yan's Master is near his courtyard but Master Wu said that Yu Yan's Master is far from here and also out of the sect as of now.
With this Zang Yuan's heart grew uneasy, is the Male Lead plotting something? And Female Lead is still going on with her gentle façade and constantly nags Zang Yuan even though Zang Yuan is obviously giving her hints that he don't like her being with him.
Ye Jin is on his side the whole time.
"Zang Yuan, let's go to the Calm Pavilion later and watch the sunset. It's truly remarkable and pretty!" Ning Xi who's beaming with happiness, looks at the handsome Zang Yuan.
Zang Yuan twitches his eyebrows just to show her that he's not in the mood.
"Apologies Sister Ning Xi but me and Youn-- Zang Yuan have something to do." Ye Jin drag Zang Yuan away from Ning Xi who's face darkens.
She really hates this Ye Jin who always steals Zang Yuan away and Zang Yuan is not even giving her a glance now. She's slightly disturbed by this, if it were before Zang Yuan will be the one asking for her attention.
Her pride can't take this especially since she's from a modern era where girls should be the one being chased and not the other way around.
"Zang Yuan, you're now too popular with girls and even boys. Your looks are too feminine." Zang Yuan just gives Ye Jin a glare.
He's pretty aware that his looks yet again catch attention.
"Should I just wrap your head?" The dumb Ye Jin suggested with a worried sigh.
Sometimes Ye Jin notices some weird stares from other seniors towards his friend who keeps a calm face even when faced with such lewd stares.
"Should I just sew your mouth?" Zang Yuan said with a smile that's not a smile.
Ye Jin shivered. Sure, Zang Yuan changed. He distances himself from the crowds, always wearing that expressionless face.
While Ye Jin and Zang Yuan are walking inside their assigned room, Zang Yuan abruptly stop in his steps. Naturally Ye Jin notices this and look at Zang Yuan with questioning gaze.
"You go first. I want to be alone for a moment." Although stupid but not that insensitive Ye Jin walked inside his room first.
Zang Yuan changed a lot. Sometimes Zang Yuan looks at the clouds with a smile like remembering something precious and always has a nostalgic look plastered on his face and whenever he sees roses he always smiles, not just a normal smile but a smile like a maiden in love with a hint of sadness in his eyes.
Ye Jin can't help but feel a bit worried for his friend.

Zang Yuan went to the flower garden but noticed that there are too many people.
Zang Yuan sighs and walks away. He wants to clear his mind, he's missing Bai Xiao Han again. He misses those lips, those eyes, those pervert stares and ways.
He misses everything about Bai Xiao Han.
Walking aimlessly, Zang Yuan's feet brought him to a place that he felt was familiar but at the same time doesn't feel like he has seen this place before. It looks like this is the old Zang Yuan's 'secret' place.
Cherry Blossoms. Pink cherry blossoms, Zang Yuan smiled remembering these cherry blossoms. Remembering his real life where he met the system before he died, he admired the cherry blossom.
"Who are you thinking of?" Zang Yuan's smile stiffened when he heard someone talk.
Zang Yuan was shocked that he can't feel this man's presence.
"What? Too stunned to talk?" Yu Yan asked with mirth. He didn't notice that Yu Yan was sitting up on one of the branches of the cherry blossom tree. Watching him from where Zang Yuan is standing, it looks like a painting in real life.
Zang Yuan went back to his expressionless face. His luck is so bad ah. Did he step on some shit while walking here?
Zang Yuan ignored the man and was about to leave when Yu Yan jumped from the tree and land in front of him.
"Answer me." Yu Yan demanded dangerously.
Zang Yuan sweats a little. 'Damn Protagonist! I didn't kill your cat, what's the hate gaze for? I'm not stealing your girl ah! She's the one leeching on me!' Zang Yuan wanted to say these words to Yu Yan.
But even when facing this dangerous man, Zang Yuan refuses to give in and still wore his expressionless facade. Even though his heart is crying, begging for mercy and feels wronged.
"It's none of your business." Zang Yuan said these words coldly and tried to walk away from Yu Yan quickly.
Yu Yan's face darkens and instantly grabs and slams the expressionless Zang Yuan to the nearest tree.
The expressionless Zang Yuan finally showed some emotion from the pain of being slammed. Zang Yuan can't help but almost tear up from the pain.
