"So, anything exciting happen today?" Aunt Jenny asked, her smile knowing. I tried to hide my excitement. "Ah, nothing really, you know...?" She laughed. "Really, hun. What's up?" Her pearly white teeth smiled at me. "Weeelllll,,, one of my guy - really close guy friends uh, Trent, asked me if I wanted to like, hang out and study sometime or something? And I was like 'yeah, sure.' But on the inside I was like 'OMGOMGOMOGMOGMSHXIKQOCKHAPQPDPHXBZNWJIFOAIFPOMGGG' so..." She cut me off. "You tend to babble when you get nervous or excited, you know that?" She laughed again. "Yeah, I know." I replied, smiling back up at her. It had been
a long day. "Dang, I'm kind of like really tired!" I exclaimed, laughing and yawning at the same time. The boys and I decided on just watching a movie before bed. It was kind of tradition. My parents and I used to watch a movie every night before bed. Now I shared the same bond with my two cousins, who have now became my brothers.
"Aaron, MOVE OVER! You're in my spot, you dork!" Laughter filled the room as we all shrieked as a pillow fight commenced. We set up forts around the house, running from door to door trying not to get hit. "ATTTAAAAACKKKKK!!!!" Andrew lept out and crashed on the sofa. Pillow fights with the Mersleys were more like war. Our battle stations were destroyed as we clambered back on over to the couch, tired out and ready for some popcorn. Andrew flipped on the TV, surfing the channels for a good movie we hadn't seen before. "Oooh! Scroll back one! White House Down? What's that?" He tapped on it, obviously annoyed. I giggled. "Let's watch this. Hehe!" He groaned. " I wanna watch 'Cops!'" I laughed again. "Nah, it's a rerun." I snuggled up into my big blanket on their couch, which I could now call my own.

Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep! I stretched my arm out to slam it on the alarm, and missed, banging it on the bedside table. "OW! Shoot, shoot shoot." BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! I growled and smashed my hand down on the 'off' button. I think I may have slightly broken it? Maybe...
In my black and pink plaid pajamas, and matching black Aeropostale t-shirt, I slowly walked down the steps of the house. I grabbed a bowl, spoon, and Fruit Loops out of the cupboard. Pouring the milk, I sat down in the wooden chair at the dining table. Andrew snickered as he sat down across from me. I jumped a little, startled at the sudden noise. "What?" I asked, wanting to know. "Sexy hair, Marilyn." Aaron scoffed as he breezed past me, heading straight for the fridge. I laughed and played along. "Oh yeah, you know it!!" I continued eating my cereal, knowing it was almost time for school. "Oh, hey Aaron? Can you drop me off at my school on your way to yours?" I asked. "Ugh. I have to pick up Rhonda, too!" He grumbled. "No biggie, I'll take the bus...?" He wasn't normally this upset. "What's wrong with you?" Andrew bluntly asked. Aaron didn't reply for a while, his cereal was obviously much more important than a concerned brother. "Gosh, didn't think you'd care!" He snapped, practically throwing the bowl into the sink. He ripped his backpack from the chair and stormed out the door. Andrew looked at me, shocked. I looked right back at him with the exact same look. Stunned, he got up a and put his bowl in the sink. "Uh, I can take you if you need it." He offered. "O-Okay, sure... thanks." I replied, getting up. I started upstairs to my room to get ready for school, still dumbfounded on the subject of Aaron. I had never seen him hostile, let alone violent.
