Lust...or Love?

Alex's P.O.V

"Alex?"

"Yeah... uhhh what?" Blinking rapidly

"Are you okay"

"yeah why wouldn't I be?" Says a little to fast

"Cause you were just staring off into space during the perfect opportunity to make about a joke about ms. Watt's 'sexual eyes'"

"Oh ehh yeah they're pretty deep" I say not sure exactly what she did

Sam purses her lips looking at me"Your acting weird"

"I am weird"

Sam pauses looking closely at Alex. "weirder than usual" she says questionably

Alex begins to look at her in an uncomfortable way"Stop looking at me like that"

Sam starts to squint and leans in a little closer "then tell me wats up"

Suddenly the bell goes off for the end of the last class of the day

"It's nothing now drop it" alex brush past sam and starts walking out of class

"No u don't" sam quickly follow Alex into the hallway and grabs her arm dragging her into the bathroom. "You're not getting away until you tell me"

I can't help but start to get a little angry "I said it's nothing now drop it"

Sam looks at me for a couple of seconds before she crosses her arms and stands in front of the door.

"Really sam?"

Sam just raises her eyebrows " I'm waiting"

Alex sighs

I move over to the sink splashing water in my face before looking in the mirror

After a minute or so Alex finally speaks

"She kissed me"

"What" She says not sure I heard her right

"She. Kissed. Me." Emphasising each word

She look confused "So what, you make out with random girls all the time."

"This was different" I quietly replied looking down at the sink leaning on it.

"Really?" She sounded slightly sarcastic "and who's the lucky girl?" Sam continued not believing me

I started at the mirror into my own reflection mumbling words I never had before "ms.Braxton"

The smirk dropped from Sams face "Come again?"

All I could reply was The same words that kept repeating in my head over and over.

"She kissed me"

P.O.V ??

Later that evening I'm sitting down in my favorite chair drinking hot chocolate, looking at the stars, and thinking

Thump... Thump... Thump

The sounds of my heart pounding against my chest filled my ears as millions of thoughts filled my head

Why

Why did I do it?

So many of my thoughts ran wild as I sat silently looking out a window unable to speak a word

Why did she do that...Why did I do that

I got caught up in the moment and... I don't know

Why

Why her.... why me...

Why is she doing this to me.

It was just a kiss, a stupid kiss. That meant absolutely nothing......
but it didn't feel like just a kiss

It felt like more but what
Lust?.......Love?

It can't be love, I'm too broken to feel love, but what does it mean

Standing there in that moment, I lost all control, the feeling of our bodies pressed together, with her lips on mine,

I felt electricity running through my veins...........

But what does it mean.

That falling for her?

No...what would my friends say
..well I can't....and I won't. I won't let myself
