Missing In Action 23 

*Month Later* 

It's been a month since Josh and Anna went into hiding. So far they've been safe and nothing has happen to them. Hopefully nothing will. 

Things here at the house haven't been going to well. Eleanor has gotten sick. Really sick. We tried taking her to the doctors but the doctor wouldn't take her. He said that there was already a lot of patients. We were forced to keep her at home. We've been giving her medicines but none would work. 

"How is she doing?" Ness asked walking in with a glass of water. I sat on the side of Eleanor's bed dabbing her forehead with a wet cloth, trying to cool down her fever. 

"Not good..." I sighed. I stood up and walked over to Ness. 

"She's getting worse." I said.

"What do you think she has?" Ness asked quietly.

"I think she has a bad case of the flu." I said.

"She wasn't eating already, so her body can't fight the flu very well. Anything we make her eat she throws it up." I said opening a pill container. 

"You mean...she could..." Ness paused. 

"Yeah..." I nodded. 

Ness eyes started to get watery. 

"We can't lose her too." She said as her voice cracked. 

"I know...I know." I said with my voice cracking as well. 

Eleanor started to cough uncontrollably. She sat up coughing hard. 

"Quick grab a trash can. She's about to puke." I said hurry to Eleanor's bedside.

Ness quickly grabbed the trash can. She started to puke in the trash. 

When she was done Eleanor laid back down. I looked in the trash can.

"What's wrong?" Ness asked.

I stood there shocked. 

"What is it?" Ness asked concerned.

"She puked up blood." I said. 

"What?!" Ness asked. She looked in the trash can.

She put her hand over her mouth in shock. She started to cry. I hugged her

"It's okay... We're gonna get help." I comforted her. 

*Next Day*

I started to put my jacket on. 

"Perrie where are you going?" Sky asked while cooking something to eat.

"I'm gonna go find help for Eleanor." I said. 

"You can't. Nobody will help. It's a cold." She said.

"Yeah, it'll pass." Danielle said.

I continued to put my jacket on.

"Perrie." They said.

"It's not a cold!" I yelled. 

"What?" Danielle asked. 

"She has the Flu?" Sky asked.

"I thought she did... I'm not sure anymore." I said. 

They stood quiet.

"She's coughing and puking up blood." Ness said. 

"That means she..s-she could die?" Sky asked.
