Black Star's POV (That's new. Even for me.)

What the hell? Where am I? What happened? I looked around and found myself in a place similar to where I usually speak with the Nakatsukasa Spirit. What's going on? 

This place seems a little different for some reason. Am I supposed to be in my mind right now? If that's so, then what happened to me? I don't remember a thing.. 

(*A/N: If you haven't figured it out yet, it's like this: You know how Soul has his Black Room in his mind since he has Black Blood and madness? It's different. This is just Black Star's madness and he has his own mind room which is this.)

Man, this stinks. I should be kicking butt right now. Not stand alone in my weird little mind place. I thought I was alone in this place. I was wrong. It was real quiet at first, but I heard some singing and whatever. I've never heard this voice before...

It's a girl and definently not one I've met before. I followed the voice and found it pretty difficult to walk in this place. My feet are heavy... Why? It doesn't matter. I kept walking and found myself at a door in the middle of the pink-ish water. It was black with a gold knob. 

I was unsure at first as I reached for the knob but inhaled and twisted it anyway, stepping through. I shut my eyes since there was a bright light and opened them after it had faded away. The academy? What am I doing here? I looked at my hands and they were translucent, almost like I was invisible. Which I was.

A girl passed through me so I gathered I was invisible or something. The little girl had fire-like hair and pale skin. Her eyes were bright red. With nothing else to do, I followed her. She was laughing... She's so happy. I turned to where she was looking and my eyes widened. 

She was looking at a young boy. Bright hair, dark eyes, tan skin... The boy... Is me.

Well... was me. I grew up. But why can't I remember... This girl... Who is she? I watched as the girl and the old me played together but then heard a whisper. I turned my head about an inch and blinked. It was a younger version of Maka. She was watching too. And she looked sad.

All of a sudden, I felt a hand on my shoulder. I thought I couldn't be- "You don't remember, do you? I wouldn't expect you to anyways..." I turned to the person and noticed... It was an older version of the girl. She tilted her head at me a little bit. "We used to be friends.. My name is Farrest. You've forgotten me, right Black Star?"

She knows my name too. "Uh... Would you get upset if I said I didn't?" She shook her head and dropped her hand from my shoulder. "It's quite understandable. Lord Death took your memories of me from you, so you don't know a thing about me. I, on the other hand, know everything about you."

I nodded and gestured to the young Maka. "What about Maka?" "You never noticed her this day. But she knows me. We aren't exactly the best of friends..." I shrugged, "Well, are you the person who was singin' a while ago?" She nodded without turning to me. "So what exactly's going on?" She glanced to me and sighed. 

"You've been pulled into the madness. In the real world right now, you're a Kishin... But that's not all. You're still falling into the shadow of madness. If you can't fix the fracture in this world, you'll lose yourself. And you'll never be able to come back."

Boy. Am I in trouble. Being me, I simply asked what she meant. Time for more explainin'... "There are numerous wrongs in your life. Now is the time to set things right. If you can fix the one biggest mistake you made, you'll be freed from this world and you'll revert back to your human form."

"So... All I need to do is make up for some of my big mistakes?" She nodded. "And there's no need to worry. I'll be with you all the way. Before you ask any further questions.... I'm a witch. That's why I'm here. Now... Shall we start?"

  After mentally debating with myself, I looked up at her. "Let's get this over with."

She put her hands in a weird position and then there was a bright light. I just hope I can make it back to Maka soon. With me as a Kishin...
